The President Of PeaceTrump! Trump! Trump!
Your buddy is not a hot Asian?
We spent a total of 12 hours working on this car over two days, and replacing the wheel bearing is indeed a nightmare. Today we took the second set in to be pressed in with a press.Went back together fair easily. Took the f**king thing for a test drive and it is still making all sorts of noise. I finally told him the hell with it, let Ryan take it to Hyundai....or get rid of the piece of shit!
So I drove all the way out to Arizona yesterday to help Pamela move her hay trailer, a task that took a total of maybe 20 minutes. She made me lunch, I took a nap, then drove back to Las Vegas and got back here at 4 pm.. Ryan's car has been making some serious noises so I took it to a buddy's house and we worked on it for three and a half hours last night and are not yet halfway finished. Turns out his wheel bearings are shot in the front end. We only have to take half of the front end off on each side to fix the damned things. As you know, I am nearly worthless at such stuff. Thank God my buddy knows what he is doing! So I have to be there in an hour to start day two of work on the damned car while Ryan has to go to work snapping pictures. My two days off were consumed by his car. What is wrong with this picture?
Ahhhh, Ryan's car is finally nearly totally fixed. It only cost the kid $600 or so. Two new tires, new alignment should be done today, new front wheel bearings, new front brake pads and rotors. And it only cost me an additional $60 for my buddy's labor. I told the kid I would handle that part. Oh and I threw in my 10 hours of labor as well, free of charge.Aren't I a great father?
Is it Squeeking or Grinding Your kids safety is the Most Important job as a father !!!!!!! I laughed when I saw the right front tire !!!!
Dang, I hate when auto repairs don't go well. A broken vehicle, or a vehicle with issues can be the worst downer.Hyundai will be expensive repairs, I always try to deal with the dealership, even though you pay close to double.Good luck!!!
...the wheel bearing is indeed a nightmare.
...not Asian this time! Don't fret too much, Gary, lots of old guys have occassional trouble with their ball bearings.
