I have taken Oxbow off my auto-toss list.  A friend of mine thinks he has an outside chance and he has been right before when I thought he was crazy.  I hate that I am going to have to show up at the OTB at 9 Am both Friday and Saturday and make my bets for the day.   4pezz2 4pezz2 4pezz2

He chose Normandy Invasion over Revolutionary. He said Verrazano was the horse he thought he needed to beat and that Normandy Invasion has been the closest horse to him.

Frac Daddy....just one lifetime win, and was buried in the Holy Bull and the Florida Derby, before running 2nd to get in the field in the slow Arkansas Derby. Don't like him at all.

Palace Malice....also has just one lifetime win, and really doesn't have that winning kick to be a factor. I also don't think he faced much of the top competition, the one time he faced Revolutionary he was well beaten.

Will Take Charge/Oxbow....Lukas always does what he can to get horses that aren't that good into the Derby. The Rebel got these two going which was a terrible field. Neither of these horses is very consistent or very fast.
Does that mean your also tossing out Normandy Invasion? He's only won one race lifetime!! I like Palice Malice he's out of  Curlin out of a mare that could run all day and got better with racing!! Only thing wrong about his LA. Derby was Prado got caught on the in-side and got bottled up, or else he probably was the winner!!! in the blue grass, he never saw Java until it was too late plus he changed leads again when he crossed tracks. (Curlin hated the polly too) Not saying he's the winner because with 20 horses the best horse usually doesn't win, but he is not a toss for me!
