What happened? Sunday's performance in a game AT HOME to lock a playoff spot.
T. Tebow: 6/22 passing for 60 yds and 1 int
T. Tebow: 6 rushes for 16 yds
In case a few forgot this spirited discussion from a few weeks back:

This one in particular deserves a replay:
They have said the same about Tebow at every single level and he has proven them wrong. I would take him over just about any NFL passer except the Manning boys and Brady right now. He may not be a "quarterback," but he is a something that is far too rare in the No Fun League -- a leader whose teammates believe in him.

Slightly O/T, but they announced today the the center for KC Weigman(sp) was starting in his 175th consecutive game since becoming a starter and has never missed one snap. That seems incredible. You'd think that you'd have to have an illness or injuries during 16 years of crashing into 300 lb defensive guys.

bowdown bowdown And he fumbled on one of his rushes. By Far, the worst starting Qb I have ever seen. And we have seen some bad ones here in Chicago. This guy being a starting Qb, let a lone how some call him a franchise qb is an absolute joke.
I would bet everything i own next week on Pitts

Not even close to the worst you've seen Pezz. Just try and think back on most of the Browns' qbs the last 15 years. Tebow's an all-star compared to those guys.
4pezz2 4pezz2 4pezz2
However, I am pulling strongly for Denver and Tebow because I like being on the same team with Jesus.

Tim Tebow ERA is over. QB he is not. The defenses have adjusted and able to scheme for his running now. He has to pass now. End of the line. Elway will draft a QB or sign a free agent out there, sorry Tross maybe Flynn. Tebow will be a RB or TE next year, if Tebow doesn't accept this he will be waived. I like Tebow, I want him to succeed but it won't be as a QB.
-

Now that Indy has cleaned house, let the bidding begin for Peyton. He would look good on a lot of teams rosters........Mia, Den, Jets, Minn, KC,Wash, and Dallas.

I don't know, considering the 1st pick now make's half of what they used to, and the success they had in GB with Rodgers behind Favre for 2 years I think he will still be there.

No way he will moved from the qb role, too much fan following. He has some kind of cult like following. And they did make the playoffs with him (although backing in like the Bengals)!

He may be one of the worse qbs mechanically but I have seen many worse starting qb's. I still say he will be in the league for quite awhile!

Not only mechanically but everything. He completed 46% of his passes for God's Sake. He won't be the starting Qb in Denver next year or anywhere for that matter. There is a reason the "Option" hasn't been run in the NFL in 40 years. He isn't going to change that. he has been exposed for what he is and that isn't a NFL Qb
-
Not as a starting QB and more than likely, he won't be the starting Qb in Denver next year
Elway is certainly not a fan, but I could see him startingin Seattle, Cleveland (or another losing franchise) in the near future! ;D

They maybe too stubborn to admit they were wrong about him.

The last thing I read from Ellway says he is on board with Tebow as the QB.He just needed time to work with him during the offseason.
-
In late December the Broncos' general manager, John Elway, gave Tim Tebow the dreaded vote of confidence.
"Tim Tebow's not going anywhere," Elway told the Associated Press. "I mean, he's going to be a Bronco and we're going to do everything we can and hopefully he's that guy."
Hopefully he's that guy.
While I'm sure Elway wasn't lying I'm told by several league and team officials Elway continues to have significant concerns about whether or not Tebow can be a franchise quarterback despite Elway's public protestations to the contrary.
It's understandable. Elway would have to be a fool not to have second thoughts after the past three games by Tebow. He's committed seven turnovers in the past three games, all Broncos losses. The rest of the league has clearly adapted to him by shutting down Tebow's running lanes and Tebow has a difficult time throwing an accurate pass.
I'm told none of this has gone unnoticed by Elway and the doubts about Tebow are creeping in--if they ever left. It's not exactly a state secret that Elway has never been comfortable with the entire Tebow phenomenon.
Elway may deny this (he has to now) but it's accurate and presents a huge mess for the legendary quarterback who has done a good job of rebuilding the team.
Now he has to somehow deal with what is clearly a mess.
-

Dont you think they are committed to Tebow from sheer fan support?......they can not pull him until he goes on a losing streak. (kind of started already)

he has one already that will reach 4 this week. Next year, when they bring in a real QB, and win, they will forget about him in a NY minute. Just like Cutler, when he was traded all of a sudden Orton goes 8-0 and was the king of the town

The fans won't sway Elway. Who do you think has a bigger following? He knows this.... Tebow is done as a starting QB after they are embarrassed this weekend,by a banged up Steelers team.

With all the rules out lawing hitting and playing football. I have personaly lost interest in the NFL over the years as the game for me became more watered down and WWE like.
Tebow is at least interesting.
That is one of 2 games I am definately tuning into this weekend. The Lions being the other.
I understand completeing 6 passes for 60 yards and and int and a fumble wont get it done. But I find myself rooting for him. Simply because so many in the press hate him and want him to fail. Would be nice if the broncos won this week. But I know its 1 in 10 at best.

And when his team needed him tonight after the D allowed the pats to go right down the field, how did the savior respond, 3 first downs on the opning drive and then he fumbles. 5 plays later 14-0 pats game over. here are your stats for the guy who never loses and all he does is win against the WORST DEFENSE IN THE NFL. 9 for 26 for 136 zero TD's, and 5 carries for 13 yards and a fumble. You go right ahead and think you can win a super bowl around this clown and i will show you a G.M. that will be fired looking for a new job

John Elway must CRINGE everytime he see's this guy drop back to pass.....Listen, Denver won an AWFUL Division by Fluke at 8-8.....There is NO WAY Mr Elway isn't looking for a Quarterback next year.....Tebow might be able to still contribute to the Bronco's, but he is NOT an NFL QB......never will be......

and when they were 1-4 they had lost by 3 to oakland, beat the bengals, lost to the titans by 3 ( who were 9-7), got buried by the packers ( 15-1) and lost to SD.
Here is who they played with him, beat miami 18-15 (6-10), lost at home to Detroit 45-10,( 10-6) beat Oakland 38-24 (8-8), beat the Jets 17-13 ( 8-8), Beat the Chargers 16-13 ( 7-9), beat minnesota 35-32 ( 2-14) beat the bears 13-10 (8-8) , lost to the Pats 41-23, lost to the bills 40-14 ( 6-10), lost to the Chiefs 7-3 ( 7-9) and Orton

Love him or hate him, He's good for the NFL.
Here's why so many of us pull against him, nevermind "hate". Simply put, Americans don't want to be told by anyone, much less a football player, what religion we should choose. The world has suffered far too many wars in the name of religion. So go to church, listen to your preacher, imam or rabbi on religion but keep it away away from actors, entertainers and the NFL.
I don't hate him but I do pull against him. As a QB, he is obviously a nothing who found a perfect storm of games but the team was 1-4 in the first 5 games when he took over & they ended the season with the same 1-4 over the last 5 games.
'Nuff said.
-

I don't remember him telling anyone what religion they should be, just stating his own faith. I'm pretty sure he's not advocating for a crusade, with murder & torture. I'd feel the same if he was a fine upstanding Jew, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Morman, etc.
The US Constitution says that we are all allowed the right to choose whatever religion (or lack thereof) as we believe. I just can't understand what makes Tebow so scary to so many people for his beliefs... hell, he's just a kid in his NFL rookie season that's not ashamed to be a Christian. Big deal.
-
So go to church, listen to your preacher, imam or rabbi on religion but keep it away away from actors, entertainers and the NFL.
It isn't the dark ages where we have to worry about marauding crusaders........the ole excuse is long wore out...........in fact the worlds (America's) woes are created and perpetuated by those who appear to be godless.
No, I don't want religion away from actors, entertainers and the NFL.......I want my children watching more of them bow in respect.
-
I have not heard the kid once tell me I was rotting in hell for not being "his kind" of Christian.
While we do not need pro athletes telling us how to live our lives, this is one who spends time with those less fortunate then him, as a personal choice, whether after his biggest wins or his worse losses. We could do a lot worse than pull for him.
I guess we should have been pulling for that fine Findlay native, Ben Roethlisberger. There is a fine, upstanding citizen.
-
Or Tom Brady who wasn't smart enough to not knock up his girlfriend and then dump her after he did. ::)

I'm quoting you but addressing Amy & The Giss too.
He has been on TV & radio advocating that people need to accept Jesus which I totally resent, as an American & a Jew. And there certainly are plenty of Jews who have been murdered based solely on their beliefs.
Amy, to think or state that this "It isn't the dark ages where we have to worry about marauding crusaders" is so ignorant, I cannot believe you or any American can possibly think that. Considering our "war on terror", which will go for many more decades, Iran's desire to wipe out the Jewish state, Muslims screaming vows of hatred toward all of us "infidels", what would you consider that? And if you need your children watching actors, entertainers or sportsmen bow themselves then you may want to reconsider the strength of your messaging to them. Based on your posts, I do not believe for a second that you've taught your children wrong in any way nor do I believe that they need to watch others to gain values.
I would not ever suggest that he does not own the right to say or believe anything he wishes but if you want to know why he is disliked by many I will once again state that it is because he would like to tell us what to believe. He is just a football player, using a podium to get across his beliefs. And it is resented.

Yeah. Childhood cancer offends me, but there is nothing I can do about it but accept it and look away from the pictures.

There are millions (majority) of Muslims who do not condone terrorism........to paint all Muslims in a "terrorist" corner is racist........Does America now think all Amish are evil beard cutters?
To me.....Tebow is a Christian who happens to be a football player...........priorities........something along with respect which is totally askew in the world today.
Why has morality become so offensive? Is it because being moral isn't as fun as amoral?
If Aleister Crowley quarterbacked the Broncos would people be so "offended"?

And he could probably throw better passes than Tebow! But you'd need a couple of shovels & a flashlight to get started.
I never said anything about "all Muslims" but the fanatical ones know for a certainty that you & I are infidels. The fanaticals are the ones I'm worried about and Tebow does fit that bill and he advertises himself urging others to follow him.
And there are plenty of religious fanaticals in the sports world & entertainment world who we never hear from or see a religious anything from. That's how it should be.
BTW, I know Tebow is a good person & don't wish him harm. But I cannot root for him as a player, that's all.
-
Apparently Elway thinks enough of Tebow to name him the starter for 2012 and personally work with him this offseason.
I personally think Tebow is a better QB than Romo, especially when you compare the amount of NFL experience both has, and the very average offensive line the Broncos have.
And Tebow will not be boinking actresses and screwing up his mind, causing dropping snaps for field goals. Jesus would not allow that to happen.

Did you really just read what you typed???? AYFKM?? The Broncos had the most rushing yards in the league this year. Not an average offensive line. And better than Romo??? Really? Romo with the broncos team as is, with the schedule they played, would of won 10 games easy!!!
Seriously, Reggie White was Tim Tebow before anyone knew who Tim Tebow was. He did more in his lifetime than Tebow could imagine ( Reggie could actually play and was in the league for 14 years and made enough money to do what he did, Tebow won't) But he was never put on a pedestal like Tebow and why was that, oh yeah he was Black....
And Amy who gives a shit if Brady knocked up his girlfriend? Now you are his judge? Get the f**k out of here. You are just as bad as Tebow, telling people how they should live their lives.
-
Just for everyone's knowledge, this wasn't Tebow's rookie year, just for the record. I could care less about his praying, it doesn't bother me. However I am extremely bummed if I bet the broncos and they fall behind because I know I am dead in the water. His passing ability just sucks.

Exactly, and that is what this thread originally started out as. That he wasn't an NFL QB. Nobody was hating on him for what he believes in and that he wasn't a good guy, but, that is what it turned into. Shocker
-
They won 8 games with Tebow starting 13 games. So you are telling me they would not have won two more had Tebow started the first five games?
Romo started all 16 and only won 8. Romo is a choke artist in the first degree.
thumbsdown thumbsdown
Reggie White was great, I will give you that! rflmao1
And no it was not Tebow's rookie year, but he was not supposed to be thrown into starting this year. That was because Orton stunk so badly they had to make him the starter. They quickly built an offense around his playing style. We will see the real Tebow next season.
-
And if Tebow was so bad, they'd have started Brady Quinn. Then you'd have seen major suckage by the Broncos.

Wait a minute, he was a first round pick so why wouldn't he have been thrown in there now? Orton sucked so bad, he went to denver and beat thm the last game of the year!! So that doesn't fly either. read my post about the teams he actually played against and played well.
My last post on this subject, no you saw the real Tebow THIS year Gary and this is what you get. He isn't a good QB and that is all we were ever talking about
-
Gary, what I really wonder is why the hatred for Romo?
Romo is just a step below the elites in this league & there are at least 20 teams that would take him in a heartbeat. Only QBs above him are Brady, Rodgers, Brees, Mannings, Roethlisberger. Next grouping includes Schaub, Vick, Ryan, Stafford, Cutler, Romo and possibly Freeman.
As a Dolphin fan, I'd give away a 1 & a 2 for him and he'd be the 2nd best QB the Fins ever had. He would easily qualify as anyone's franchise QB.
The only guy I root against because of his morals is Mike Vick. Always & forever.

In my opinion, Romo is just not a winner. He is blessed to be with one of the best organizations in professional sports, yet just does not possess the will to rise up and lead the team to the next level. Plus I lost a lot of money on him.
If I owned the Cowboys, I'd have cut him when he dropped the field goal snap. rflmao1

I think ESPN is at fault for the dislike of both Tebow and Romo by a lot of people. Both are hyped beyond their skill set.
-
BTW, I know Tebow is a good person & don't wish him harm. But I cannot root for him as a player, that's all.
And this is an opinion I have no quarrel with. thumbsup
Bernie Kosar is still king in my eyes. 8)

And Amy who gives a shit if Brady knocked up his girlfriend? Now you are his judge? Get the f**k out of here. You are just as bad as Tebow, telling people how they should live their lives.
::)
I guess those of us who are trying to raise children who don't get knocked up in high school care.........and if you would step away from your inner superiority and look at statistics on out of wed lock children you might notice there seems to be a problem.
I'm not his judge.........I'm allowed to have an opinion on his life style............again I go back to people having such an issue with morality.
-
nobody was hating on him for what he believes in and that he wasn't a good guy, but, that is what it turned into. Shocker
And that's it in a nutshell......The TOPIC was about whether he could play FOOTBALL, specifically Quarterback.....in that vein, he's probably 32 out of 32.
There are literally THOUSANDS of good, wonderful Human beings in this world who go around and help people......ANONYMOUSLY.....we can talk about their politics and religion all day long......but that's not the point here
-
And Pezzy............I don't need a lesson on how I should raise my children to not look at sports figures as role models..........I hope and PRAY I am doing the right things..........highly probable they are going to screw up along the line somewhere, but DUE to the family base I've tried to establish I think we can over come those screw ups with minimal damage............BUT East Cleveland and North Akron are FULL of LaSeantays and Lamars who DO NOT have these types of family units and their influences DO come from sports heros and entertainers.
Talk to ANY teacher in these areas..........or I can put you in touch with my niece who teaches near Tampa...........it's deplorable how MANY children are being raised............children who grow up.....go out into society and do DEPLORABLE things.
And just to make you happy......Tebow SUCKS with the long ball!
-

Sorry Gallo......when the "f" bomb is thrown at me early in the morning my feathers get a little ruffled.
I never use the "f" bomb before 11am and even then I cross myself after.
Tebow sucks in the pocket.

What is Elway supposed to say at this point ?
He started the last game of the season.
I just do not see Tebow ever as an elite QB.
I am also one who beleives Romo is overated and fails in the big games.Yes his stats are good but not even one championship game appearence.
-
I am happy the Broncos will keep him as there starter, just makes 1 less team that could possible get to the Super Bowl? In the end, this will set Denver back about 3 years. Fine by me, as I could care less about the Broncos
Gary,
I agree with you about Romo. Cowboys need a new QB. Romo is not the answer, but in fairness the problem probably relies with Jerry Jones. His ego keeps getting in the way. It is obvious he doesn't know how to put a team together. 15 yrs ago if he just let Jimmy do his thing ......... Maybe Jimmy would be in charge of the decision making..........this just in he was a pretty good evaluator of talent!!!!
-
BUT East Cleveland and North Akron are FULL of LaSeantays and Lamars who DO NOT have these types of family units and their influences DO come from sports heros and entertainers.
Their heroes are not Tebow-types anyway. More like Iced T or Ice Cube (see Oreilly, I haven't a clue).

At the same time, we have many inner city kids in our Debate program who have crept & are creeping out of their poor upbringings, getting scholarships to get into college & succeeding. I see it 1st hand thanks to left-wing teachers who are committed to the students & the students who believe in themselves. It is a beautiful thing to watch & be a part of! They overcome huge odds with one belief - themselves.
And you don't have to praise any religious anything to make it happen.

I know we should go to another thread with this.........I'm glad you know about some of the inner city programs currently in place and making a difference. it's why I have a hard time disparaging salaries of teachers.......and good teacher is worth his/her weight in gold. Quality education is invaluable. By the same token the outreach programs sponsored by churches are also making inroads. But what a difficult fight they all face when children are assaulted daily by immoral media outlets and sports figures make millions.
-
I think this thread got out of hand after Denver beat the Steelers. Several people wanted to be right about him that when Pittsburgh lost they got more pissed off.
I think the problem is that EPSN has talked about him so much and with him his religion that it is hard to separate the two. Any other quarterback and no one would be talking about him other than like they did Derek Anderson with Arizona last year.
You have people that want him to succeed because of the person that he is.
You have others that say he won't succeed because he isn't a good quarterback. I am sure some people don't want him to do well because of his religious views either.
-
I guess the only answer is to pull a Pontious Pilate, and wash our hands of this matter.
Hoo-Rah! Let's all run up the hill for the Crucifixion! Tim Tebow is just a nice kid who won a few football games.(something none of his critics will ever do)
I AM, however, suprised to see the hateful side of some of the ITS posters over this trivial matter.
Oh, and Dolfan... if you go back and read my previous post: I said that I would just as proud of a fine, upstanding Jew. So don't try to paint me in that corner. I have enough real faults; I don't need any fake ones.

I don't remember him telling anyone what religion they should be, just stating his own faith. I'm pretty sure he's not advocating for a crusade, with murder & torture. I'd feel the same if he was a fine upstanding Jew, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Morman, etc.
I really didn't mean to "paint anyone into a corner". Most of you who have had discussions with me know that I am the first person to march for freedom of speech, which also encompasses freedom of religion.
I'm "just saying" there have been millions of people murdered because of their religious beliefs or backgrounds; and that's just over the last 70 years! It is still most certainly going on.
While I appreciate your stance, if he was, in fact a Muslim & was encouraging anyone to convert he'd be toasted & roasted so horrendously, the death threats would raise security levels to new heights. Of that I am certain.
So my bottom line remains, he is an athlete, not a preacher. I don't want to hear his preaching & he should be on CBN, not ESPN.
it's why I have a hard time disparaging salaries of teachers.......and good teacher is worth his/her weight in gold. Quality education is invaluable.
Florida is dead last in spending on education. That means we are behind Arkansas!
The last 2 weekends, our kids debated at 2 expensive, high end schools that were freakin' gorgeous (one of the schools was attended by the Marino children & the other by Cris Carter's kid(s). Our lowly public school was the easy team winner at both events, with my daughter winning both times. So you know how proud I am. Our team is also ranked #8 in the nation in Debate & Speech. We get no funding - zero. We fund-raise all year-round. I am the program's largest donor, not only in money but time too, which is unfortunate.

Did you happen to see the 60 Minutes piece on homeless children in Florida? It ran a couple months ago. Heartbreaking.
Like I mentioned.....our niece teaches near Tampa (Sarasota Springs actually) she grew up in Michigan and is just beside herself with the problems she sees and is trying to fix......with very little money......we are doomed with out quality education.
-
we are doomed with out quality education.
Obviously I agree with that but it doesn't necessarily just mean money. That's why I went on that rant about a Debate team with zero funding.
You can self-fund by fund raising but the bottom line is if the student & teacher both have a desire to succeed, it can happen in unexpected ways, such as big black bubbas (yes, one of our kids is affectionately known as Bubba) switching from Football to Debate!
Will you affect everyone? Of course not but even with huge money you will only affect the ones with the desire.
If your niece wants to make a difference, she has to find her niche that she believes in & can commit to completely & then stick with it, knowing she will only capture a small percentage but that small percentage will never ever forget what she did for them & she will forever be a hero to them.
-
Dolfan, I'm proud of you for what your doing with the kids. I do a bit of that myself.
You might be surprised to know that I'm huge fan of Israel, and their perilous plight in the middle east. If Tebow were Jewish I would still be proud of his honorable way of doing things. "Big Ben" is one hell of a good NFL QB, but I ain't very proud of him.

No surprise to me as most Americans are pulling for Israel. It is hard to believe though, that just 64 years after the creation of the state & all of lives that were lost because jews had no home land, that any US President would create so much friction. I despise him for that alone.
I don't care what Big Ben is, as long as he doesn't break any laws. No different than Tiger, I enjoy watching them compete as great athletes striving for the common goal to win.
As far as the kids go, this is my daughter's senior year & I will miss chaperoning & judging for Debate but not as much as I will miss just being around a bunch of great kids who give me hope for the country's future.
-
May I suggest that how celebrities become either positive or negative role models for our kids is misunderstood by many adults. My experience as an 8th grade teacher has taught me that adolescents, as individuals, don't get up in the morning one day and decide which rock star or athlete to emulate. Their peer group does that for them. It's all about who or what their friends think is cool. If a kid's family is dysfunctional, it's likely that the street will provide him with a "family" and a strict code of conduct. The fact that there are "bad" role models out there is not really the problem. More dangerous are the circumstances that force kid to make choices that a healthy family life would have helped them avoid.

So you are saying your physical support of this program will cease when your daughter graduates ? Will your fundraising and donations also dry up ?

Just as the kids move on so do the parents. Others must step up to the plate, same as I did 4 years ago. Other kids' parents will also get an opportunity to chaperone & judge, although it is unlikely that most of them will see it as an opportunity rather than a chore. That is extremely unfortunate.
As far as my donations, they will decline as I am about to just start paying for my daughter's college education. But I would never abandon the program and would never turn down their request for help.
Now I must ask, what is your involvement in schools or social programs?

I can't wait until next year when all the Tebow haters get humbled bowdown

Let's see....
Little League...... 8 to 12 Babe Ruth 14 to 16
Girls Softball... 6 to 11....Travel softball 11 to 17
Science Fair Judge at 4 different Schools in the District for 14 years
PTA member 15 years....at three different schools
Boys Basketball coach Park District 5 years
5th grade both boys and girls basketball teams 5 years(three years of which my two were not in that grade)
Secretary and Director of the Town's Football/Cheerleading, Poms Program 5 years.
OldTimers, the Parent Organization that oversaw, all of the sports activities in our town including Volleyball.
Can PM you further info upon request regarding my involvement with SCHOOLS.
Please note many of the above referred to programs I continued to stay involved in LONG AFTER my children had become age ineligible.

Speaking for all the teachers who rely on the help of parents who choose to get involved with their kid's schools, I would like to thank guys like you, Dolfan and newandimproved. The impact of your involvement reaches beyond the time your kids are in school. Other parents do get motivated by what you have contributed, and your own kids are learning lessons they don't get in the classroom. For me, as a teacher and a parent, it was especially gratifying to see my kids return to their schools to help with the programs they benefited from.

So you must see like I do, how few parents actually get involved; it's shameful they do not even show up to events where their child is getting an award.

Yes, no doubt my daughter will be passing up a money-paying job & instead will be volunteer coaching at the school next year, assuming she goes to college close to home - she is trying to get scholarship money into Univ. Miami.
Without teachers like you, it'd be hard to get parents like me to commit so much of our time (and $).
So Lockjaw, this is for you... bowdown

I think most of us parents with students involved in any program (sports-band-debate-ffa.....etc.....can assemble a pretty impressive list of contributions to these events.
With now having a 7th grade and freshmen child involved in multiple sports / choir...I take my hat off to all you parents you have already been through this and still have your sanity and a bank account!
I will not be able to watch the big m tomorrow because I run the clock at the boys basketball games....just another night in the house of BJ1 and Royal! 4pezz2

At the last 2 national tournaments that were held locally, my wife & I were the ONLY parents at one of the events & at the other, there was one other parent. And so many of their children walked to mom or dad's car with a trophy while mom or dad waited in the parking lot to get out of there as soon as humanly possible. "Most of us"? No chance!

I was judging rounds & putting my DVR to work while all of the other parents were at bars or at home watching the playoff games. They are fools as they will have little to remember or tell their grandchildren about their kids while I'll go on & on with a huge, satisfied smile on my face. I'm not gonna leave this earth wishing I had spent more time with my kid. I'm taking it anytime & every time she gives me the chance.
So I miss a couple of games, a few nights at the races or whatever. I wouldn't trade those moments for anything!
And don't play all tough with us; I remember you writing plenty about your kids. You're sucked in just like I am. thumbsup
-
Dolfan.....there are several kids on the teams that I have never seen the parents, I simply can not understand this? Seems like we have the same 5 or 6 sets of parents that do all the extra work, just the way it goes!
Yes we are sucked into all of the kids activities, just thought that was the way it worked. Sometimes I feel like the easy target, all the coaches expect me to do stats, keep books...etc...what can I say, I am a fish! ;D
-
So much to say here, as a parent, as a coach and as a volunteer, but A) too busy trying to get caught up after my whirlwind trip to Rowan University with the reptiles and B) Need to be careful how I phrase some of it. Maybe tomorrow.
