Oh Oh here we go again..I've always found it interesting that two people can see the same thing and NOT see the same thing..cashman we gotta have a beer together sometime   

You aren't kidding....I keep watching this thing over and over wondering how the hell anyone can think this shouldn't have been a dq...and it's not just one person it's several. And one of them is supposedly related to me, although I'd love to see the hospital videos of those nights. Something seems fishy to me.

Not only is it open, but they race more days a week than the Big M!!!

And in the 3 nights they raced last week, they barely outhandled what Mohawk did just on Saturday. That 500K handle they had last wed sure makes everyone think they should race everyday.............

The only track that should be taken seriously as an everyday track that has handle to make money is which ever WEG track is racing. That is it.

There have been some Big M cards lately that have looked like some balmoral cards. And last sat, the drivers at balmoral were better and this is the championship meet.

It will get better there after this weekend, but to compare anything racing in Illinois right now to anything else is comical. Illinois racing is a joke. Sorry Old and Slow.

Every year Big M cards are weak around this time. But the drivers that are showing up there this year. Makes it almost unbettable.

Do we always have to beat this same dead horse? Most people think Illinois racing sucks, some defend it, and we continue on this same path over and over again. LET IT GO ALREADY!!!

The Big M sucks too, it's nothing close to what it was, should be, or needs to be. Racing twice a week is a complete joke. If people want to bet Illinois racing that's up to them, I personally don't like to but others might, and at least they race on more then just Friday and Saturday.

I personally love betting Mohawk/Woodbine, the 4 nights per week is great, the big track size, the quality of the product, and nice pools keep me happy. And I know a lot of people that can't stand betting it...IT'S A PREFERENCE!!!! It doesn't make anyone right or wrong based on where they want to spend their gambling dollars.

Right on RR!  Trouble is you can't have an IL racing thread without the haters rubbing your nose in shit.  I know who hates it having been told 100s of times. That is your right. But, it doesn't make those who may still enjoy it morons and  $2 bettors who don't know any better. I was around for all the glory days and know how much it has declined.  I wish there 4,000 people at the track on a Wed. Night like back in 63 when I first started going. But, alas, those days are gone forever.
