Then why does the Big M site have the handle listed at 7.6? I just assumed they put that in. That is where I got my figure from

Maven was going to go by. They got it right with the DQ as well

Disagree, Grape. Maven was running before Tetrick moved outside. Yannick made a green driver mistake and yanked his horse thinking there would be interference. The rules state that is not a reason for DQ. Tetrick actually looked to see there was clearance.

I agree with you, Gisser. Yannick was 3 or 4 lengths behind Tim, and Tim took a good look before he pulled out. The rule is you have to move to the outside (where clearance allows) and lose ground, resume the proper gait to advance. All those rules were met. Kinda like baseball umpires, though: Can't change the call.
