I try to discuss real time harness racing issues and current events around many tracks.

I talk about racing with my co workers and friends and do my best to spread the valuable experience of being a fan with everyone.

Thanks,

being friends with Pigland and others I can see why he would have a difficult time.  Perhaps you can accommodate him by typing in all caps and intentionally misspelling words.  Some others are beyond hope so I can't figure out way to help them.

PIGLAND GUD PEOPLE.

"ALL JEWS JUNKIES AND FREENDS ARE WEALLY BAD AND THEY CAST MANNY BAD HISTORIES ON HARNESS CAMELS AND WEPSITES GENERALLY.   I AM PREATTY SURE THAT EVEN FRANKLIN ROOSEVELT WUD THOUGHT THESE GUYS SHUD GET BEAT UP FOR DEY LUNCH MONIES AND IM THINKING DEY SHOULD BE QUARANTINES EN GUANTAMENO WITH THE WEALLY BAD GYES."

This right here pisses me off the most.

If you look at his selections, in this race he lists the 8 followed by the 9 than the 1!!! How the f**k can you do that when you are the in house handicapper? He does it all the time too. 2 weeks ago, a horse he picked 2nd wasn't even on his pick 4 ticket and he went 5 deep!

As for this weekend. 25 races, and he had 4 winners  1/5   8/5   7/1 and 8/1

His title is Oddsmaker.   That job does not mean he handicaps the race to put the running order into "odds" format.   Instead he is attempting to handicap the public (guys like you and me, et al).    His goal if done correctly is to put up the odds of which the horse will be at post time, he has to dismiss any knowledge he has of the races and try to use an unbiased opinion of the public.

His other gig is public handicapper, in this position he attempts to put together "tickets" in which the likelyhood of cashing and value are balanced with cost.   In this position he uses both his knowledge of the horses and drivers.   It is these selections that are actual handicapping.

Unfortunately, the cancellation of Luck has prompted several pieces like this, but this particular article was published today.

Luck brought some stuff to the limelight that many racetrack managers and hierarchy would have loved to keep locked away.
This could be a good spot to turn a new leaf, I really hope those guys listen rather then sweep it under the rug.

Ty Elgin.   Sad state of affairs these games are in.

I like 2 horses a bunch tonight.   My 10 dollar play goes on #1 Big Bam Ray in the 10th race.   I think the Fred and Ginger Qualifier is fake and there is no way to handicap that race.   I think many will use that line and I hope to get 7/2 on Big Bam Ray.

In the event of a scratch early, my other winner will be race 5 #1 Grams Legacy.   They still haven't let this one really pace yet and this is Yimmi teaching this horse to finally be a horse.
