In the first four races at M1 last night the winners were 6th, 6th, 5th and 7th at the half. Those who chose to rough it up out front early got their heads handed to them. So it was surprising to see Gingras and Sears go for broke early and burn out Westwardho and Camaes Fellow in the Aquarius final, followed by David Miller and Pierce doing the same with Social Network and Take A Walk in the following race
