Several people on this board picked Denver to beat Pittsburgh, we were told we didn't know what we were talking about and that we were picking based on our feelings and heart instead of our brain.  Some gave reasons that Ben is hurt and one hit could take him out of the game.  Sure enough he got hit and then played a lousy second quarter.

Now some of those same people as well as others are saying that Brady won't have a bad game, he has been waiting for this game etc, but if the only reason for picking New England is Tom Brady I would never bet on the game.  One awkward fall from a sack or hit and he could be out the rest of the game.

This board has the best harness and horse racing handicappers I have ever seen, and I think in part is that you are all able to separate personal feelings towards a horse and place wagers without emotion.  I don't think as many can separate personal feelings when it comes to football and I hope aren't betting on this game when they could make more money with less risk betting on the Meadowlands.

It is unamerican to not to have a wager on the Super Bowl.

Eli Manning is the best quarterback I ever caught a pass from.

Since I don't have to make a living from gambling, All my bets (there aren't many) have a bit of emotion in them. I think that is called 'entertainment'. If most had to make a living as a gambler they would starve... and I'd starve first.

We're headed to the VFW with a tray of "Deviled Eggs to Die For", and some home made cookies for a big pot-luck and Super Bowl party. Should be a good time. My only bets are on number boards and I don't even know my numpers... too distracting. My pals will tell me if I win.

Enjoy, Y'all!

It was a joke because I did catch a pass from him.

Real boring, I missed the first quarter but do the Patriots have a receiver that can run more than 10 yards?

Who was the idiot who said NE and over?   rflmao1
