• The tote board was "live". Following the money usually led to the winner.
• Foiled Again is super super sharp. He may get to $4M before WTW.
• The 3yo colt pace is wide open. Should be good.
• St Elmo Hero still a great story IMO. Left hard and still had plenty left to be 2nd to FA.
• Scott Zeron......... wouldn't be my top choice in a big race.
• Ron Pierce......... easily my top choice in a big race.
• Was good to see Palone win against the best. He can drive any horse any time anywhere.

Watched most of the races on my phone while out but will watch replays eventually. Please add your own observations. Looking forward to next Saturday's Finals!

First off kudos to The Giss on the call on Westwardho Hanover.

Drop the Ball is showing why they took a shot in the Pace.
SYAP is turning into a sad story.
Androvette is clearly the top oldr mare now.
Cedar Dove continues to roll.
MOMM Chapter 7 and Daylon  will make the 3yot probably the best betting and viewing race next week.
2yoct looks wide open while Check Me Out looks a standout for 2yof.
You gotta like the way Sweety Lou closed to win and A Rockandroll Dance continues to impress.

Hope they stay well and the weather is right cuz it looks like a great card to watch and make some spot plays.

Actually got to see that horse twice, the first time he raced at Northfield I was in NC.  So I will root for him to win the final.

TW I could not agree more. Many other divisions will also likely change next week as well.

The two I think least likely to change are Foiled Again and Anndrovette, but a whole lot  depends on post positions..

Just curious about SZ and Alsace...what do you think he should have done? O'Sullivan told me he would be flying late because from that post he didn't want to get caught wide early. 5 advance from 8. Seemed smart to me. How many first-overs (SZ with, was it Modern Connection? as an example) got caught and ended up on the sidelines next week?
Maureen rocks is sharp and racing well, but she is no Anndrovette (spell it right laddies or a particular poster may be unhappy )

Sweet Lou looks like the winner In the 2nd old colt div.  Has had tremendous speed , now he can come off the pace. Has now become  versatile, doesn't have to be on the lead.  Good luck in beating him.
Don't be so quick to claim Foiled Again the champ. We Will See is the horse to beat. He needed that race after being off 20 days and having post 10. He closed in 25.4 . He will be A LOT BETTER next week.  Count on it

I agree.  It was obviously a tune-up race and looked like a usefull work.  Should be a great race to watch.

Hey they can spell it with five n's and six a's for all I care as long as it's about her winning
