Secondly, the rules were never changed. A scratch in a pick 3 results in a consolation payoff. You do not get the post time favorite. It has the same rule as the daily double. The only wagers that result in you getting the post time favorite if there is a scratch are the pick 4 and pick 5. Every racetrack applies these same rules.''

oh for the record , I never cursed at him once in my post .

You might be right and I just don't remember it being like that , but it doesn't make a lot of sense that you play a pick 3 and get the first to legs in and you're automatically getting paid for only hitting 2 legs .

Almost as dumb as paying out 4 out of 5 on the pick 5.
