Took a behavioral studies class at OSU years ago. There's an experiment we learned about that observed human's reactions to images, based upon blood pressure & many other tests, such as pupil dilation, sweat excreted, etc. When humans shown other human's bulldozed into ground during Holocaust, they were WAY less affected than just viewing a penguin covered with oil on a beach, or any other animal in distress. Weird!
