Let's see if we can get some picks going at the Hawk tonight!
Here's what I like:
2- Silverhill Shadow should jog in here pretty easily. Play on top of the 4 in the exactors.
3- Melmerby Beach. Looks to be another short priced winner in here. Colt has a lot of talent but tends to make costly mistakes at bad times. Will probably be on a front end mission.
4- Embry Seelster. Draws inside and is always right there in this class. Should get a good trip and can't be ignored.
6- Brookdale Shadow. Gets the outside post in this Gold Final for the fillies, but Doctor Ian Moore always has them ready for the big races, and he has unreal success with his Shadow Play offspring.
7- I'm Drinking Doubles. Right back with the Moore/Shadow Play connection here. Had a perfect trip last time but couldn't go by the pace setter. I think he'll be better here this week. Taking a shot.
9- Artful Impulse. Another pretty evenly matched OSS Gold final for the 3 year old fillies. I took McIntosh's filly, because she's been racing tough competition and Bob usually gets a lot of the money in these events.
10- St Lads Zeke. Seems to have some talent, and is coming off some good efforts. Wide open race.
