No Suprise
« on: December 16, 2011, 12:13:01 PM »
Was reading online this AM that the House has passed a bill to overturn the ban on the incandescent light bulb. Of course, this is after the last factory in the US that produced them closed and the employess laid-off. Now they're all made in China. Nice job by the idiots that came up with this idea.

Then I read that the state legislature of Calif. is going after citizens for changing the oil in their cars too often. They say it wastes millions of gallons of oil a year. Dealerships are requiring owners to sign a release if the interval is closer than the pols think is necessary. I guess that will help sell more of the new cars from Gov Motors when you ruin the engine in yours. Oil change places DO NOT throw that oil away... they use what they need to heat their bldg. and sell the rest to oil reclaimation companies.

I think you have to retarded to be eligible to hold office in Cali.

Somewhere in Kenya a village is missing it's idiot.

I lived in California for seven years after I left the Navy. Finished college and found my career path/employer in San Francisco. This all happened a damned long time ago and at the time it was a great place to live and work. Nazi Pelousy was still smoking dope in the Haight-Asbury and the Giants were still in New York. Since that time it has become a cesspool of ulra-leftwing thought.
Still have friends out there and talk to them frequently. The commute I had was a trans-bay boat ride from  San Rafael/Larkspur to the Ferry Bldg at the foot of Market Street for a monthly cost of $37.50. Today that ticket runs $124.75. The toll on the Golden Gate Bridge was $0.25 each way. Today it is $10.00 round trip.
Cost of electricity was $0.0325 per kwh. Today it is $0.183/kwh. The list goes on and on all in the effort to appear "green".
Hell I could write a book about San Francisco, Marin County, Berkeley, and the rest. It was a great place to live..................at one time. A leftwing hell hole today.
