LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A tragedy hit Horse Country, Friday morning, when a barn fire left several thoroughbreds dead.

My heart aches for their loss.  My Dad lost a huge dairy barn when I was only 3 yrs old.  They managed to get almost all 40 or so cows out of the barn .  Only 3 yrs old but I can still see it and smell the smoke and fire.  He rebuilt  but never recovered from the loss.  sold out and took up horse trading.  His 1st love anyway.  So very sorry for these folks.
