My thoughts- It is a sad commentary on the world when people waste so much energy arguing over how we should be greeting each other this time of year...

I don't mind happy holidays... I get annoyed when companies use santa claus in a commercial and then say happy holidays.  I don't buy from them.

Whenever I go to a store and they say happy holidays I always respond with a "Merry Christmas"
Many will then respond in kind.  Christmas has become so secular I'm sure that for many it is no longer thought of as a religious holiday.  Either way is fine by me.  (while it is still a free country)

I LOVE All American Muslim.........I was not at all prepared for how strong and opinionated the women are.........their personal decisions to wear scarves (hijahb sp?) was fascinating......all American men who are cops, federal agents and football coaches........and the respect they show their wives is amazing.

I've never watched the show but what did you expect to see?  They aren't going to put lowlifes on it and people don't act the same on the camera as they would when its off.

Like there are no low lifes shown on tv?  :o

I absolutely did not expect to see such strong women........other than the local carry out owner who always tells me how polite my youngest child is (I think he has me confused with another mother) I have zero interaction with anyone Muslim. 

Glimpsing into these peoples lives is not like gawking on the Kardashians..........they are people I honestly think I have more in common with.

I have a Jewish owner in Connecticut (he is very Jewish, the little hat and all at times with frequent trips to Israel),

I always send him a happy holidays card and put in it Happy Hanukah, he sends me one back and says Merry Christmas thumbsup
