Cubs Celebrate, Cubs Snub, Cubs Lose-The Tradition Lives On!
« on: April 24, 2014, 06:01:00 AM »
!00th anniversary of Wrigley Field marked by another Cub's meltdown in the 9th inning.  While several Cubs greats were on hand, others were conspicuous by their absence.  Sammy Sosa, face of the franchise for a decade, was not invited.  The Cubs made a fortune off Sosa and now have thrown him on the scrap pile.  OK, he is suspected and most likely did use PEDs. Like the Cubs didn't know that when he played for them ?  That skinny kid the Sox got from Texas turns into a pro-wrestler looking ball player overnight .  It was OK when he packed the seats and they were making money hand over fist.  It was OK when he used a corked bat against the White Sox.  Now, they pretend he never played for them.   What about Mark Grace.  He still works for the D-backs even after 2 DUIs. For years I had to listen to delusional Cub fans tell me he was a better player than Paul Konerko.
Now, he never existed.  We know why Ryne Sandberg wasn't there.  The Cubs were too stupid to hire him as manager.

Why should they bring back a fraud. He took Peds. Used corked bats. Lied to Congress. And took off on his team before the season was over.

All Cubs fans are delusional.

Whata franchise. They order a 400 lb. cake designed to look like Wrigley Field, then have to toss it in the trash.

They couldn't serve cake because they left it out in the sun for too many hours!

If they kept the money he made them instead of giving it back to the fans they should have brought him back.

The team was owned by Tribune Co back when Sammy played. Current ownership owes him nothing.

C'mon give the guy a break.  You don't need 3 digits to give his IQ.  he sacrificed everything for the Cubs!!!!!!!!!!!!  Most likely will drop dead soon as a result.  So He left the last game a couple hours early.  Big Deal!!!!!!!
