You'd vote for any race where The Captain got beat. rflmao1

Have to agree with you though. World record time and split by a snot bubble at the wire. Now that's Hoss Racin'!
Somewhere in Kenya a village is missing it's idiot.

Not true. I thought he raced his eyeballs out that night. Sears Just out drove Timmy. I have nothing against the horse at all. I am hoping he get's even better in the off season and makes the FFA'ers that much better.

I loved the Sunshine Beach Captain battle, but I voted for the American National at Balmoral. Probably the best race of I Luv The Nightlife's career and she got beat. What a trip she ran on a brutal weather night, I'll take that over a Pocono mile.

Easy choice for me: The Hempt. The Captain should unbelievable determination and heart to get past them all despite a brutal trip in terrible conditions.

The USTA has a poll up on their main page:
Which of the following would you vote for as the 'Horseperson of the Year' in harness racing?

Some interesting choices. Check it out. http://www.ustrotting.com/

Call me self-centered, but I think the race of the year goes to a cheap conditioned race at Chester-one in which I had an $8 straight trifecta that netted me several hundred dollars.  ;D

If that was one of the choices I'd vote for that one too.  thumbsup

I think G-Man would vote for that race Ginsburg won. Damn my memory is bad.

Those shoes just worked because of who he was racing against that day, no big time horses.

thumbsup Incredible mile - had to have raced 15-20 feet further than anyone else, although I'm not a mathematician.
