A year ago I was in the hospital with a broken hip. My wonderful husband was going thru some awful problems with alcohol addiction. I thought my world would never be the same. The Good Lord works in mysterious ways. I have a sober husband with his sense of humor and love and kindness back that I married 46 years ago Dec. 29. Life is good. I look forward to the holidays and 2014 with a glad heart. I give thanks every day for our 3 daughters, their wonderful husbands and my 6 beautiful / handsome grandkids. And I have to add my wonderful friends some new, some old that have enriched our lives in 2013. God Bless each and everyone. May the Good Lord continue to bless us one and all in 2014 and may I add, I pray our great country, The United States of America will once again be truly blessed and rise above the sorry state it is now in.
