They should all refuse to drive there until the problem is fixed.

2 yrs of complaining is enough.  they should shut them down til the track is redone and not just "patched" cosmically .

If Tim thinks that someone will get killed there as he told management why does he still race there?

Drivers have to make a living.

Ive heard for a long time about the surface.

I also witnessed one of the 2 worst accidents ive ever seen in person at the exact same spot on the track in one of the few times ive attended Harrahs chester.

The purses mean people will race there even if they don't want to. A lot of trainers complain about the surface but if your in the midatlantic and have a nice horse it is where the money is.

Agree it should be shut down till it is fixed.

They have always seemed disinterested in racing. Maybe a big law suit will be part of their excuse to drop it.

There are plenty of tracks on the east coast to race. They don't need to race there to make a living if it is unsafe! That makes no sense.

They will race wherever they can make the most money. Hell guys race all over the fair circuit-even the top drivers from the particular area. They all know any race can be their last.

that's what I was trying to say.

In Maryland I watched the industry get destroyed when Delaware got slots and their deal for purses to be supplemented by slot money. Everyone moved to Delaware.

I really cant be mad at them for doing what they had to do to keep their livelihood.

I didn't like it and I still don't like it.
But its what happened.

I don't hear stories about the Delaware tracks being unsafe.  But when you have several other options to race for good money, it doesn't make sense to put yourself in greater risk when you feel that the condition of the track is going to cause an accident that can kill someone.
