santa anita is a beautiful place to see a race but;
despite the great weather and being in the 2nd most populous state in the country drew less than 60,000 on sat.
churchill drew over 65,000 back in 2011.
they can keep trying to make the event something it is not or go back to basics and promote the racing.
it is about racing and betting period.
the super bowl is rotated from yr to yr and so should the bc.
new york ky and ca need to be part of a rotating series.

i have never seen a worse racing show than the nbc telecast of the classic.this is their idea of keeping someone tuned in on a sat night ?

I agree with you on Friday it was a joke but not yesterday. Yesterday you could win from anywhere.  The only horse who would of been a wire to wire winner on the dirt got dq and the horse that got put up was 7th down the back. It was really fair yesterday and one more jump for will take charge and it would of been an incredible day.

Keep it at Santa Anita.  Churchill has the Derby.  Belmont sucks.  Rotate it--don't like it.  Besides the gals in California have more teeth than their Kentucky counter parts.
Also got snookered out of higher payoff  in pk 4.  Don't care about that.  It's the pk 5 that left me sick.  DQed out of that.  And yes it was a legit DQ, but I lost some tris  where my horse was bumped much harder than that but I guess that doesn't count.
