Big Dee has old Gary D busy

Our dear sponsor Big Dee has me working my fingers to the bone, literally. I manufacture a piece of equipment for Big Dee every couple of years, and now is that time. Hate the work, love the money I make doing this.

Thus far I am 25% finished and already got a second degree burn on my finger (I use a propane touch to make the piece).

Let me tell you who may not realize it: when you get burned by polypropylene that has been melted with a propane torch, it burns like a m.f.! And no I cannot use gloves-just does not work.

         Some decades ago I was working with a propane torch.
After completing by work, I instantly grabbed the still hot tip to remove (DUM).

 My then-Mrs had one of those Aloe Cactus plants, which I applied immediately. There was never even a scab or a scar.

 The actual plants works leaps and bound better than any of the Aloe ointments.

I used to have the plants in my home at all times when I trained horses. You are right-they fix a burn much faster than aloe ointments/gels. I even drank the aloe from the plants in my juice back then. Maybe that's why I was healthier then.

Actually remember Bob Cseplo ? He had stock in that juice!! he was trying to get me to take it for my Crohn's disease.

I actually just squeezed some aloe gel from plants into my orange juice, kool aid, etc. It tasted like crap, but sure made you feel better.

I make polypropylene jaw cords. Many people also use them as a safety strap on jawbreaker bits. Big Dee gets frustrated with me because it takes me a long time to make them sometimes, but in September he said I am the only one who makes them so they don't break. He is stuck with me.

BTW, did you take a look at one of the owners of the 10 horse Clenor in the Breeders? yep it is the same Bob Cseplo. I remember years ago he had Bill Mott train for him! Bob also owned Broadway Blue. He was a No Nukes colt. Went to Canada for stud duty!
