ADVICE?

Recently, when I click on a video link it will play for 19 seconds and freeze. If I refresh, same thing. Anyone else experiencing this and have a solution? Thanks

Your wife says it only takes you 10 seconds...........so why does watching porn take over 19?

Could you possibly be referring to video links on the SC website?

1. I would slam the computer a few times. Repeat as necessary.  rflmao1

2. Sometimes the video player gets stuck. Just try to move the arrow forward with your mouse. If this doesn't work, revert to step one.

Wonder if you had a windows update and something conflicted.  Do you have windows 7 or 8 ?

Started out with Windows 7. I usually click on any updates that come directly from Windows, so I may have allowed a Windows 8 upgrade. Is it possible that I have to uninstall one to end an incompatibility? Just guessing in the dark.

what browser are you using ? If it's I.E. download Fire Fox and try the videos on there. You sound like my

buddy Bill from Cicero, I ask what the hell did you do and he says well it said free update so I clicked it

or it said I won a million bucks so I clicked it.  I've spent endless hours undoing his clicks  4pezz2

Most of my headaches began when I clicked on RegPro Free computer cleaner and speed enhancer. Turned out to be none of the above. I uninstalled it from the list of programs, but it still pops up all the time. It doesn't show up on the list of programs, but the sombitch is still on there.

I'm assuming you're talking about a desktop, right ? You can go into your computer and reset it to a time

before you downloaded that program and that should get rid of it if you have an idea of when you did

it. Some of my stuff like mapquest will not work at all on IE newer versions so when I have something

like that happen I just use the firefox browser, that's why I told you to download it and try it. I think

firefox may even be better than IE but I am so used to IE I only use firefox when I need it.

The best free registry cleaner is from Glarysoft.Works pretty good.If I were you i would also download IOBIT Advanced System Care,free version,and run all the things on it.Then I would Download SuperAntiSpy,free version and run a full scan.Sometimes when you delete a program hidden files are still there.The Iobit program has a link to their free uninstaller,which also features a power scan to make sure no hidden values are left in the registry.There are lots of real good free programs that work as well as paid ones,but NEVER click on a popup offing free programs.

Wouldn't have made the jump from windows 7 to 8 with a free update.

Unless you are going to lots of 'bad' sites personally I think all the extra programs and antivirus stuff will actually slow the computer down.  I just stick with microsoft security essentials never have an issue.

Uninstall Internet Explorer browser.  Re-install IE browser and watch as IE cleans your registry before finishing the re-installation.
