Please note; image only placed temporarily.

Haughton or Walker.

If I tell you the horse, than that will influence you choice.
I'm hoping for uninfluenced choices.

It's difficult to use colors as recognition from back then.

Very frequently drivers wore owners colors, which only happens rarely today.

Too bad I don't have a precise date and the USTA Yearbooks would confirm the driver.

HHT,
It wasn't my intention to reply that you were wrong, rather that it was bad rule of thumb to use as the primary criteria in these old pics.

There's some really good pics of Billy and Family (as well as around the barns) in the Time-Life archives.
See photographer George Silk, unfortunately Billy's not wearing his colors in a single pic.

That particular photo is in fact Billy. I didn't confirm it either way
because so many folks between three forums (actually two forums and an email group) responded correctly. There were 30-negatives in one envelope of Galophone. Some of the pics were labelled, while others were not. Some a few included years and dates. There were three drivers in the photo's; Billy Haughton, Bob Walker and Curly Smart.
