In they go, out they go
« on: April 23, 2013, 07:32:35 AM »
Purchased a horse over the weekend, another Illinois-bred since I have had so much luck with Yiannoulas Boy.  This one is named Parham, 4 year old with only 1 lifetime win.  Wanted a younger horse with lots of conditions, and the conditioned claimers in Minnesota go for 4000 - 6000, so that's where he will be racing.  I want to use this time left at Cal Expo to get him right.  And since Parham is such a goofy name, we are just calling him Bob.   ;D

On a more somber note, had to retire Stanza from racing...his physical issues just won't let him be a racehorse so I figured I didn't want to push him any more.  He's a big, 7 year old gelding who will be a nice horse in his next life.

Pretty sure he was originally owned by odds on racing?

Good luck with the new investment.
