Taking note if the horse is wearing colored leg wraps is important.  I like orange best .

The warm up a few races before the score down is more important IMO

If you know what to look for in the horse and driver.

imo it is a big help when i am cappin the tbreds.

I look at the post parade to validate (or invalidate) what I've capped for that race.  If I didn't like a horse at all when I capped it and saw something I liked in the post parade, I probably won't change my picks. But if my "on the fringe" horse looks good in the parade, I might move him up.

Usually only when one of my horses is in it so I can make sure the various announcers we have these days get my name right!   rflmao1   rflmao1
