Case to possibly return too action; Pena denied at Chester

Walter Case is in the process of reapplying for a license in Pennsylvania. Lou Pena was licensed, but Chester denied his entry.

I hope Walter gets licensed again. Ten years is long enough for the best half-mile driver ever to sit out.

Lou Pena is simply taking it in the ass from every racing jurisdiction except California. He did nothing that every other trainer on Earth hasn't done by allowing the vets to treat his horses at their own judgement.

Case is one of the best 1/2 mile drivers I've ever seen, and probably could go right back to winning races as well as anyone.

The way I see it though is that it's probably his gateway right back into hell. Going right back to the environment that triggered him into a booze swilling coke-head that planted a steak knife in his ex-wife's back and ended him in up in prison seems to be the worst thing for him as a person.

Never met Wally, but I'd hate to see him give up the rest of his life because he couldn't stay straight in that environment. I hate to see a life wasted.

Pena taking in the &%$#   REALLY?  How about all of the $$$$ that handicappers like you and I lost because of this thief?!  How about the honest trainers that paid high entry fees to enter a race with this clown?!What should he get??   How about "Trainer of the Year"  Give me a break.   One post on this site was about how Pocono Raceway has predetermined winners.  Don't you think that this is just as bad?  Maybe USTA should allow
drugs!  Why not?  Then only the poor horse would suffer!  Do you realize what a horse goes through when injected?  I don't think so.  Take a few minutes to Google it.   Let me guess:  You must be a Lance Armstrong fan,
or cheering for Bernie Maddoff or maybe even Jodi Arias!

what happens when all the tracks are having stakes and there aren't a lot of top names around?

if Walter is still Walter and he showed he was at Plainridge he'll be fine
