Three priests permanently removed from ministry following sex abuse investigation.

Now old Gary D is not a Catholic, but it is apparent to me that the Catholic church needs to allow priests to marry. Maybe that way the church will attract more non-sexual predators to spread the Word.

Marry whom?  Other men of like disposition?  It is far more common for priests to have affairs with the female house keeper, cook or other employee or with a female parishioner then to molest kids.
 The sicko molesters should be jailed.  One of these days I think priests will be allowed to marry.
I do think that  some orthodox  Catholics (those that are faithful to Rome), their priests can marry now.  I"m not sure that they will be allowed to marry anytime soon.  The no marry thing is strictly a church rule.  The current Pope will not change it.  Maybe down the road sometime it will be changed. You don't have to be a priest to spread the word and as a matter of fact these days, Deacons, who often are married, do much of the work priests did in the past.  They do Baptisms. Marriages, funerals they just can't say Mass. I know of at least one deacon who became a priest after his wife was killed in a car accident.  Doesn't happen very often.

I don't care if they marry other priests, just give them some sexual outlet other than kids. By the way, Pamela and I saw some beautiful nuns last week in Kingman, Arizona. THey were not dressed like penguins either, but in colorful dresses.

Pamela (a Catholic) said they had to be from some other country because they were talking in a Spanish-like language. She said she had never seen nuns wear that type of clothes in America. They were eating with a priest.

You don't have to be a priest to molest kids.  Ever hear of the Man-Boy Love Organization?
Those priests who molest kids would still be molesting them if they never became priests. Many child molesters ARE married, both to same and opposite sex partners.  Very few nuns in the US wear habits anymore.  Outside of a cross they may be wearing, you wouldn't know they were nuns.  I spoke with a nun when in DC at the pro-anti gay marriage rally.  She was in habit and I asked her if she always wore a habit.  She said hardly ever, but today she wanted to be identified as a nun. We tend to forget that religious of any faith are human beings and thus are all sinners just like the rest of us.  I had a priest on my bowling team back when I could bowl.  He wore jeans and a bowling shirt.  He could care less if you swore, drank or whatever.  He was a good guy. (not a real good bowler though)  Even to this day I occasionally see a priest at the race track.  Not very often because nobody goes to the track anymore.  If they knew who I was I'd say hello to them. I would not say hi Father Joe,  I'd just say Hi Joe how you doing.

the only reason the priests who molest are given more publicity is because they are catholics
virtually everyday someone is molested by their teacher and it also swept under the rug.it is not as big a story as the priests because it happens in different states and school districts

The media outlets love to bash Christianity, I think with the chick fil a thing a Christian youth sports league was labeled a hate group.

I can't stand to even hear the news any more.  Sick  Sick world.  I think the news only creates more sickos to outdo the last sickos to  get their faces in the news and the news reporters are more than welcome to obilge. ( or however you spell obige LOL
