Some Hal factoids for you:
FDR was president when I was born. He committed suicide a few months later. I'm not sure the two events are related!
Hal was almost 2 before I saw my father. He was almost 36 when he was drafted. After kicking butt in Italy, he came home for a brief furlough while on his way to the South Pacific. That is when I was concieved. He was in Okinawa when Harry A bombed the Japs. Otherwise, I may have never seen him at all.
For those of you not good at math, that would make me 68.
