O/T Bad qb's and coaches in the NFL
« on: December 18, 2012, 06:55:17 AM »
last night's game imo has once and for all exposed another ex usc qb as a fraud
palmer leinnart sanchez were all hyped to the max coming out and have done nothing
makes me wonder about the current qb  at usc

not sure if rex ryan would be at the top of my worst coaches list without his big mouth but that seals the deal for me
2nd of my list would be jerry jones.we all know since jimmy johnson left the rest of the coaches have been well paid jones lackeys
3rd on my list is norv turner.other coaches have done far more with much less

Nope, the Browns will probably sign him.

If they cut Sanchez, it is a 17 million dollar cap hit for the Jets. That will never happen. He will be on there roster next year.

There is a lot of bad QB play in the league

Arizona, Minnesota, jets, Buffalo, Tennessee, Jacksonville and kansas City all should be looking for new Qb's Next year

as far as the coaches, I think there will be 10 coaches fired when the season ends.

I'm not a Carson Palmer fan by any means but I don't think he should be classified as a fraud or on the same list as Leinart and Sanchez. The latter two plain out suck(ed) while Palmer is an average but legitimate NFL QB.

I'm of the same Palmer opinion.

As for Sanchez, I've said for years that he is no better than Chad Henne who is a legit backup QB.  That USC list includes includes many frauds such as Vince Evans, Sean Salisbury, Rob Johnson, Todd Marinovich, Rodney Peete and now, Matt Barkley.  Given that list, Palmer is best.

Rex Ryan is not a bad coach but he is clueless offensively as is Tony Sparano & GM Tannenbaum has collected the worst group of WRs to go with their below-average QB.  They have finished the season 1-5 against teams with a winning record which means they had 10 games against losers and still couldn't make the playoffs.

Worst coaches are Norv, Chan Gailey, Romeo Crennel, Dennis Allen, Ron Rivera, Jason Garrett & Jim Schwartz.  They rule the under achievers.

Best coaches for game-planning:  Belichick, Sean Payton, Jim Harbaugh, Mike McCarthy, Gary Kubiak, Mike Smith.

Coaches who get the most out of their players:  John Fox, Mike Tomlin, Jeff Fisher, Mike Shanahan, John Harbaugh, Tom Coughlin, Rex Ryan.

Still too soon to tell: Pat Shurmur, Joe Philbin, Leslie Frazier, Mike Schiano, Mike Mularkey, Mike Munchack.

Too long to tell:  Lovie, Marvin Lewis, Pete Carroll, Andy Reid, Ken Wisenhunt.

I don't think Tomlin is nearly as good as you give him credit for, but not nearly as bad as Donk gives him credit for.

Pat Shurmer seems like a below average coach, but if he had a good quarterback he would look a lot better.

I still cannot understand how Norv Turner still has a job as an NFL head coach and Marty Schottenheimer doesn't

I don't think he will get another season with the new ownership. He will bring in a Gm who will want his own coach
