Job Openings For Head Coaches
« on: November 25, 2012, 11:26:59 PM »
Who should go:

Chan Gailey, Buffalo  thumbsdown
Pat Shurmur, Browns  thumbsdown
Norv Turner, Chargers  thumbsdown
Romeo Crennel, Chiefs  thumbsdown
Dennis Allen, Raiders  thumbsdown
Jason Garrett, Cowboys  thumbsdown
Ron Rivera, Panthers  thumbsdown

Who will go, IMO:
Crennel  redrose
Allen  redrose
Andy Reid, Eagles  redrose
Rivera  redrose
Jim Schwartz, Lions  redrose

Who do you think will go?
Will Sean Payton return to NO?
Will Jon Gruden leave the confines of MNF?
How about NCAA coaches?

Sean Payton will be back with the Saints
Garrett - Gone
Reid - Gone but will be a head coach somewhere else next year
Turner - might be gone tomorrow
Gailey - for some reason i think he stays
Schwartz - Gone
Crennel - Gone
Allen - Stays

How much money do you think is going to be thrown at Cowher ?

Chip Kelly  Oregon -  No doubt he ends up in the NFL next year
Bill O'Brien  Penn St - don't be suprised if he takes an NFL job
Brian Kelly  ND - Will some team throw big money at him ?
Mike Holmgren - Will he return to coaching ? i say yes
David Shaw  Stanford - does somebody take a shot on him ?
Jay Gruden  - ?
Bruce Ariens- done a pretty good in Indy with Pagano sidelined
Cowher - Carolina ?

In a perfect world the Cowboys fire Pat Garret and hire Norv Turner   rflmao1

The NFL was one of the first ecologically sound, "green" businesses. They have been recycling their garbage for years.

I have been asking that question since he was hired.  The football gods have certainly had Marty Schottenheimer on their minds!

It's always amazed me that losing coaches keep getting recycled instead of giving a new coach a shot. Baseball also does it all the time.

I always liked Mike Shannahan's coaching style. As for my Dallas Cowboys: Tom Landry, Bear Bryant, Ara Parsegian, Mike Ditka, and Vince Lombardi, as a tag team, couldn't please Jerry Johnson.(or keep his interfering ass off the field)

I would hire Pope to manage a baseball team before I'd hire a single manager that was fired in the past five years.

Yup, thanks for the correction. Jerry Jones and Jimmy Johnson always jump into memory when I think about Dem Boyz, Dem Cowboys.

Some of the Dallas players (anonimously) said that after Jerry Jones said that a trained monkey could win a Super Bowl with the team he put together, Jimmy Johnson said something like, "Well how would like to kiss a trained monkey's ass!" Jones fired him.

How's that workin' for ya Jerr? rflmao1

The Jets should fire Rex Ryan and bring back Mangini.  ;)
