we have no food here in Long Beach and have been eating those delicious fox hole treats being distributed by the National Guard and bottled water

I still can't believe the finer restaurants don't serve these gourmet meals

when you are able to enjoy the finer things in life like flipping on a switch and getting light and using indoor plumbing, nothing else seems so bad anymore

Sounds horrible JJ. The media is not saying a word about it. I guess it's only a shame when W is in office. If you need a place to stay in IL come on over to my house. Hope you get some relief soon.

Absolutely a wonderful gesture by Mr. Gural.   I was glad to read this topic here with rave reviews and acceptance of Jeff's goodwill.

It saddened me to read another popular web forum which had members and administration blasting Mr. Gural saying he didn't do enough.

Good luck to Jeff when the Big M reopens and all the best in all his racing endeavors.

Keep Jordanjacob in your thoughts and prayers. It's really bad where he's at, and now has to have his house gutted to repair the damage. And the conditions are horrible. Hang in there JJ.

There are good people still living among us.
The coach everyone loves to hate, John Calipari, and his employer, U. of Kentucky, put together a telethon with Calipari's team helping man the phonr banks.
They put together donations totaling just under $1,000,000 in a 24 hour period and delivered the check on their trip to Brooklyn to whip the U. of Maryland.
The difference between the total raised and the $1 million figure was made up by
Calipari himself. Something like $13k.
You can be pretty sure there is tyranny in the country when the government pleads the fifth
Amendment !!
