People in Staten Island & Queens look no different than the folks in New Orleans after Katrina.  Another disastrous response from Gov't officials:  "Lets run a marathon" that starts in the flooded areas of Staten Island where people are literally crying for help.

Yes, great job Mr. President.  Just like Brownie & no different than Bush.

NYC Mayor Dumberg has now cancelled the NY marathon because his scrotum was getting roasted by pissed-off New Yorkers with no food, water, electricity, gasoline, heat, etc. And didn't you just love his idea to speed up traffic by requiring a minimum of 3 passengers in each vehicle? All traffic had to be funneled into a single lane at every bridge & tunnel so cops could check them and weed out the violators... causing worse traffic jams. They weren't even allowing taxis to go to pick anyone up. Nice thinking there, Mayor.

Marathon should have been cancelled last week.  They were thinking about kicking people out of the hotel rooms runners had booked for the event.  I bet most wanted the race cancelled and practically all of them wouldn't have wanted to throw someone out onto the street so they can run

Well if Obama got the race cancelled he should be thanked.  There is no way that race should have been ran.

This will not end Tuesday night, IMO.  There will be several states too close to call without counting absentee ballots.  In many states, absentee ballots only need to be postmarked by Nov. 6 & yet they will not even begin counting until after the election.

That, combined with alleged fraud that is already taking place in Ohio & 3 other states - there is testimony from some people that they pressed "Romney" & the voting machine indicated "Obama", will make for potentially a repeat of 2000.
 
Imagine going to vote for your presidential candidate and pushing the button on a touch-screen voting machine -- but the "X" marks his opponent instead.

That is what some voters in Nevada, North Carolina, Texas and Ohio have reported.

Fox News has received several complaints from voters who say they voted on touch-screen voting machines -- only when they tried to select Mitt Romney, the machine indicated they had chosen President Obama. The voters in question realized the error and were able to cast ballots for their actual choice.

"I don't know if it happened to anybody else or not, but this is the first time in all the years that we voted that this has ever happened to me," said Marion, Ohio, voter Joan Stevens.

Stevens said that when she voted, it took her three tries before the machine accepted her choice to vote for Romney.

By the way, that is b.s. about the Nevada ballots. You can actually print them on paper within the machine and read who all you voted for before ever casting your ballot.

The little burg where I vote you fill out a paper ballot and it's fed into a machine, but doesn't show anything about how it's tallied. I wouldn't know if my vote was changed. Being Illinois, it will probably be 117% for every Democrat... "And don't ask no questions."

My precinct votes about 90% Republican, but we're always overun by the Chicago area vote. Oh well, I'll never stop voting. Though I might be voting in Indiana in the future.

At least with the machines around here, you can view your ballot as you approve each page on the bottom right on a piece of paper.

When I "vote" at my "polling place", an "election worker" hands me a detailed printout of my "voting record" every time. The "ballot" is always very complicated, so I spend a lot of time studying it before coming to the "polling place".  There is even an electronic board that keeps track of the "voting" so anyone can see who is the favorite "candidate" right up until the time the "polls" close.
