Have pity on me.

I live in DC and after the New Orleans win they had the Skins 16-0 and winning the Super Bowl. And RG 3 was already in the hall of fame.
This will make my TV and sports radio listening much more bearable.

I didnt say he hasnt played better than I expected.

Its jsut that in this area the fan base is very banf wagon like.
Now all the sudden they are Nats fans too.

RG 3 has talent but he will have all the same issues other rushing QBs have.
Injuries and ability to throw when kept in the pocket.

"Running Quarterback"??  RG3???  I don't know who you're watching but the RG3 I see is a PASSING QB!! The guys is a terrific passer and is definitely run 2nd type personality.  That's not a running QB, that's an QB who happens to be a great athlete.

He ran 11 times for 82 yards and 2 TDs today.

After week one, RG3  led the entire NFL with a 139.2 passer rating.   He is definitely pass first, run second.  He happened to be able to pick up 7 yards a clip getting out on the edges today.  Is he not supposed to take what the defense gives when they are over playing the pass?  That's what good experienced QB's do...except he's a rookie.  Through two weeks, 526 yards, 3 passing TD, 1INT and a couple rushing TD's as well.

he's going to have hiccups.  All rookies do.  But this kid is a superstar in the making.

With the exception of Tebow almost all NFL level QBs can throw the ball.

And some QBs who can run are great passers.
But all the guys like Vick and Cunningham and Steve Young etc etc take hits and they get hurt.

I am pretty sure RG3 will be similar.
I wasnt saying he couldnt pass jsut that there are issues with running QBs
And he is a running QB

The guys like Farve and Mannign and Marino basicly dont get hurt alot until they are old.

I am not ready to say if hes great or not. Hes had 2 games.
I do know the skins supporting cast is poor. Including thier line and WRs. So he will have to do alot on his own.

They also dont have a first round pick the next 2 years because of trading for him so he better be good.

I'm I glad I stopped making NFL bets over a decade ago!

As for RG3, he is on my fantasy team!  My other QB is Drew Brees.  My third sting QB is--- can't remember--haven't played him yet.
