Mohawk Saturday-Canadian Trotting Classic!

Some of my biggest scores ever have come at Mohawk . And, they have come on Super Night!  I remember leaving Sportsmans with my pockets stuffed.  (This was pre-ADW) Haven't played Mohawk a lot this year, but with the long times between races at Balmoral tonight and the great card I have to tonight.

Race 1  #3 Twin B Warrior-should offer value  #6 Looking for Adventure-rolling well now  #1 Watermelonwine-Timmy does well at Mohawk.
Race 2  #7 Put On A Show- can't go against
Race 3  #2 Bee A Magician-super sharp  #4 To Dream On- has been perfect this year
Race 4  Tough one!  #1 Sparky Mark-rail should help  use with 5-7-8 Hell, odds pemitting I might just box the 4
Race 5 #4 Smokey's Luck-brutal trip last  #5 Lifeoftheoldboy-going well now  #2 Cool Rock-overdue
Race 6  #8 Major Hottie- impressive!
Race 7  The Big one!  #1 Maket Share- can argue with success  #3 Little Brown Fox- sharp  #4 Knows Nothing- due to win a big one.
Race 8 #2 Androvette -will be heavy fav  #6 Rebeka Bayama- sharp now  #4 tea Party Princess- longy special, hope she is preparinga wicked brew.
Race 9  #3 Wheeling N Dealin- best bet
Race 10   #3 Ole Miss-primed to scorw upset  #6 Big Mcdeal-impressive  #7 Sarandon Blue Chip- can't count Coleman charge out here
Race 11 #7 Classic RockNroll- like Yani on him
Race 12  #5 Thunder Seelster-faced better at the MO
Race 13  #1 Lookin For A Fight- big driver upgrade  #8 Aled Hanover- faces better but looks decent.

Another great card.

Race 1 - have to go with That's the Life. Racing super and now goes to the Moreau barn.
Let's hope Filion stays awake on this one this week.
His drive last week was one of the worst one's I've seen on a major track in sometime.

Race 4 - my best bet is Dalhousie Dave. This horse learned how to win again a few starts back after a long losing streak against some good horses. He then won 2 in a row and stayed sharp last week but was too far back to threaten.
If he's closer tonight he can pick them all off late. I'm looking for some speed here to help him out. 6W1/5/8
Pick 4 (1/5/6-4/5-1/6/7/8-1/8)

Race 5 - a tight one with two horses for me. One a short price in Lifeoftheoldboy who just keeps going huge miles at this class and a decent price horse in Smokey's Luck who has been racing huge. He was claimed last week. Has a wicked brush. Box 4-5 in exactas and put them on top of 1/3/9
Play Smokey at a decent price.

Race 7 - it's Market Share. Huge race from the 9 hole in last. Gets the rail for the big cash and Tetrick will make no mistakes. 1W3/8/9. Throwing out Knows Nothing who hung late after a nice trip in last start.

Race 11 - Aracache Hanover has no Foiled Agin or Betterthancheddar to beat tonight. Should hanle these. Not much of a price. 6W5/7/4

Nice! Love that there's some discussion on a great card! Here's what I like:

1- Watermelonwine. Draws inside and picks up the services of Tim Tetrick. Has a great closing kick and should be close enough to use it... Menary will likely have this one on "go"

2- Put on a Show. She's been dominant all year and has toyed with the last two mares opens classes. Play with Drop the Ball in exactors for Dave's "lock box" of the night.

3- Mild upset but I'm taking Be A Magician. Zeron is due to win a big race.

4- Sparky Mark. Has fought all the bearcats and finally is getting some class and post relief. He should beat this bunch, and I hope he gets it... He's been racing the best.


5- Campasser. Second start back after having a couple months off... Should be fresh and has Tetrick. Good enough for me. Box with Lifeoftheoldboy

6- Major Hottie. My favorite old war horse currently. Made a few dollars for me last start, he's moving up a bit but I think he can handle this bunch.

7- Knows Nothing. Was all out last week but I think will get a good trip and convert. They'll be rolling in here and could pick up the pieces.

8- Androvette. Its only an elimination so I don't think this group will want to tangle with her. Play with Rebeka Bayama and Monkey on my Wheel underneath in the exotics.

9- Wheelin N Dealin... Filion and Jones are a lethal combo... Play on top of 2,4,6,9 in the exotics.

10- Liked Warrawee Koine but saw she was in retention and Johnson isn't nearly as good from retention. Will use her anyway but with some misgivings. Nice mare.

11- Foreclosure. This thing was loaded to the gills last week - three quarters in 1:19! They'll not go that tonight, but I like him on top.

12- I'm Feeling Good. Due for a win, weak field here.

13- All Tiger. When he makes front he races better and there's not much gate speed inside. Should power away on this field.
