He's a trotter that a bunch of people fought like hell to keep from racing. Long story, but to sum it up, they said he was broken down and should never race, even after trhe horse trotted in 2:00.2 at Scioto in a qualifier.

They contacted every place the horse raced trying to prevent him from racing, even though I posted the letter from the Ohio State Racing Commission stating the horse was ok to race. By the way, I think he only missed a check once. He is tough behind the gate from what I heard, and races mainly in amateur races.

In my opinion he will be a decent racehorse at Buffalo or Northfield this winter. I hope to meet the owner, Marvin Raber in the next week or so. Maybe he will even let me jog the horse myself while I am in Ohio.

If she cared for it as deeply as you all suggest, she would have kept it. And now almost 4 months later, still no word on who the horse was originally given to. WHY??  Because Wendi is ashamed of who she gave it to and needs to protect that persons identity so the real TRUTH doesn't get out.

Nobody is talking, Jodi Doherty, some 2 bit trainer ordered a cover up of the whole stinking mess. I think the horse was dumped and when Raber got it back to form, Dohertry and the former owner came up with this elaborate ruse to try to smear Mr. Raber and get the horse back.
I love the fact that they keep touting 4 star as a "pleasure horse only"  AFTER Mr. Raber got the horse back in form.
If this Wendi lady was so concerned about the horse, she would have done it initially. A former jealous owner and trainer tied to extort ownership from Mr. Raber, thats my take.
