Racing is finished at Wooster
« on: September 13, 2012, 05:54:49 AM »
Well we have completed our annual tractor/water truck tour at the Wayne county fair. Despite rain on Saturday and a horse pull being held on the track, we managed to get many of the ruts out of it. One horse even paced in 1:57.4 yesterday. Of course he also won the OSS final last Saturday for three year-old pacing colts.

I was the only known casualty, as I took a tumble down the hill from the racetrack. All banged up, bruised, and sore today, but no biggie. I've fallen down the same hill many times. Very steep and the grass is slippery.   4pezz2

Going to head down this morning to eat my free breakfast, then off to Upper Sandusky fair this afternoon for the races.

The reason being, after the water truck "malfunctioned", Gary was thrown from the truck's cab.  That "tumbling down the hill" was a cover story.
