Little Brown Jug
« on: August 25, 2012, 09:46:39 AM »
We have our room reserved and boarding set up for our pup for LBJ week. We'll be there Jugette Day and Jug day. Will be hanging around turn 3 with the Brian Brown & Williams stables. (if they'll still have us)

Wondering who from ITS is going to be there? Great racing, great food, and great people... what's not to like!

Great now you are going to get protesters with too much time on their hands trying to keep you out.

As I mentioned previously, I'll be there both days - first time.  Hopefully I will get to meet some of you.

In this internet age, when a livestream video of just about any race can be picked up on one's smart phone, tablet or computer, there's something endearing about the fact that the WINF radio broadcast of the Delaware Fair races, with Berman and Hoffman, will be available online again this year.

Phil Terry says the broadcast is aimed at tailgateras and those busy in the barn area.

No TVG crew full of thoroughbred interlopers from California who can't wait to get on a plane and go home. No Donna Brothers conducting breathless interviews on horseback. No instant replays of the stretch run.

Started today to tidy up, paint and I think I'll put my tents up and get out the grill so I can sit and enjoy them now.  We get too darn busy Jug week.  My flowers are doing very well considering the drought we are in , but the water  hose works well so the flowers should be nice Jug week. Looking forward to seeing all the ITS folks that can make it here.  thumbsup  If someone comes this year I haven't met yet for craps sake make yourself known.  We are user friendly especially Jug week.  ;)

We will be there all week (well minus the Eric Church concert in Pittsburgh Saturday night). This will be my 6th Jug week in a row; where has the time gone! Looking forward to picking up our first Jug week win, watching the best owners, trainers, and drivers in action, leaving my work cell and computer at home and enjoyn the best week of racing with an amazing bunch of people! Can't wait to see you all again :)

Bettor..  agree with you about a great week of racing but that amazing bunch of people probably wouldn't be so amazing if everyone,  and I'm pretty safe saying "everyone" wasn't intoxicated 99% of the week.   rflmao1  but it's all good.  thumbsup
