The article says the group made $20,000 per month selling weed for $350-$400 per ounce in local schools. Then they say they seized 600 plants worth $3 million. Horseshit!!

A hydroponic grown plant will generally yield about 3-5 ounces of high-quality dried weed buds. Let's say 4 1/2 ounces to be safe.

Using their high dollar figure of $400 per ounce, that would be $1800 per plant. 600 times $1800 does not equal anywhere near $3 million, and I highly doubt that they actually got more than $300 per ounce, or that the plants actually yielded that much dried bud.

I know professional growers that would love to sell $1800 per plant, but they say it just does not happen. Out here, the growers get only about $1000 per pound wholesale to dispensaries, so that is about the yield of four-five plants.

I am calling extreme bullshit. If they sold $20,000 per month, my figures are still way high, but I would say the plants are worth less than $1000 each, and actual cost was more like $100. I know a grower who grows outside and has 99 plants. He says he nets $100,000 per year from 99 outdoor plants, which are not hydroponic and yield about one pound or so each plant.

So much like the "horse theft" thread, I am calling bullshit here on the Lebanon, Ohio sheriff's figures.

I personaly know  2-3 people who are selling the hyprobonic weed for $50-$60 for an 1/8 of an oz and doing a booming business.

For top quality medical weed in Nevada, the price is $200 an ounce retail. If you have a caretaker, that's the price. If not, you have to buy it illegally and the price is higher.

Graduated in December, working in a small Accounting firm probably until after next tax season.  Hopefully will pass the EA exams soon as the new rules kind of limit the value of tax preparers
