As I said before, I would not be the least bit surprised if this horse never had a broken P-3. Only a total idiot would disagree with the veterinarians (not one, there is an "s", morons!) who have most recently examined the horse.

As I have said, Old Gary D. is a journalist. I find out the real truth about stuff, not some bullshit that some dumbass said on an internet forum. I have never met Marvin Raber and would not know him if he walked in this room right now. I have never met Wendi Wiener and would not know her either. I have no stake in this matter whatsoever, but right is right. Marvin Raber bought this horse, he was not designated as "Pleasure Only" to the USTA until after the horse had been sold several times, and this is according to the USTA who would be happy to tell anyone that asks the answer to that question.

If I were Raber, I would be suing anyone who attempts to prevent the horse from racing, and suing them for a whole lot of money. If Ron Burke were training this horse, his bill would now be in excess of $30,000. If Ms. Wiener wants the horse that badly, I am fairly certain Mr. Raber would gladly sell the horse to her a little cheaper than that.

You people who want the horse retired so badly should all chip in a few grand each and  Mr. Raber would possibly sell him to you and you can do whatever you want with him. He is probably sounder than the majority of $10,000 claimers and below that are racing today.

By the way, I will be forwarding this letter to Batavia Downs as well.

The Doherty chick from NY who broke the story was so adament about putting the blame on Raber. Why? Who is she protecting? I think it was all a big smoke screen to protect the person the horse was given to. I smell a coverup and my opinion is that this Doherty broad plotted right from the start.

So the horse got scratched because he didn't have a good line in the past 30 days. Not because of 3WWW or any of the other idiots calling Batavia.

How do I know? I called Batavia. I bet the horse races next week elsewhere.

At best at this point its borderline ethical. If ethical at all.

You shouldnt have to run from state to state to try to drop your horse in.

Anyway it is what it is. And I did what my conscience told me to do.
I will be suprised if he races this horse anywhere.

Why would he not race the horse? Because it hurts someone else's feelings that they gave the horse away and now he returns to the races? He owns it, if the horse trotted in 2:00, the horse has to be pretty damned sound, and a P3 fracture is something that often heals itself if given the correct amount of time. I'm thinking this is more about hurt feelings and embarrassment than anything else.

I certainly would race him. As I said, I don't know Marvin Raber at all, but I do know I would have been racing him since the day he qualified if he was my horse. I learned long ago that horses come back from far worse injuries than a p3 fracture. Hell that is not even that serious in most cases.

I get that maybe he has a right to race the horse.
