That's Charlie! I sort of wondered why David went that fast to the half too. I figured Charlie told David to either smoke her or take her to the back.

Who is there to blame this week? Last time David Miller was the goat for setting a "time trial" pace. This week Sears sat in the pocket for 3/8, jumped the leader and hit the 3/4 almost a second slower than last week. The filly still dropped anchor in the final 1/16. She just isn't as good as CMO amd Maven, no matter who the driver is.

Knowing Charlie, he will put her on lasix and drive her himself and win easily with her in a cheaper race. Then he'll point out to the world only he can drive her right.

 

I've known Charlie since he was about 15 years old. One of the funniest people on Earth. 

(Of course many find him obnoxious!) The best thing about Charlie is his beautiful wife Carrie. (sp?) I love her!
