Purses will increase 25 percent for the non-winners of one and non-winners two classes at the Meadowlands beginning Friday, June 8.
In addition, all horses competing in overnight races at the Meadowlands will earn money regardless of where they finish. Beginning Friday, June 8, horses finishing sixth through 10th will receive two percent of the purse value. The additional payout will not effect the current purse distribution to the top five finishers, nor does it apply to stakes races or late closers.
