Early Breeders Cup thoughts

The races are still a few days away and we will see if the weather plays a role in the outcomes.
After yesterday's draw for post I was a little surprised Uncle Mo was made the 5-2 ML fav..He has yet to win a 2 turn race this yr and has always had distance ?? IMO.He may win the race but I will NOT be making a win bet on him.
LaFranco Dettori will be serving a suspension starting Sat so figure him to be extra sharp on Fri.Personally I am gonna miss him on Sat..
The Turf is filled with excellent fillies and looks like a nice race.
Goldikova again looks like a solid single.I think it took track records to beat her her last couple of losses.What a mare !!!!!!!!!! 
I loved and had Big Drama last yr but have my doubts this yr.Very few starts and the recent illness raises questions especially at the ML price.
It wasn;t bad in the old days with only 2 2yo races but now 

Anyways it will be fun capping for the next few days.

I'm working on the Sat. card first.  I'm about half-way through it.  My head is spinning with all the info.  It always comes down to what info is relevant on that day at that time.

I am not good at these breeders cup races and am trying to decide if I would be better off playing Northfield where I would stand a better chance to win, or play the breeders cup where I have a better chance of losing every race but would win a lot more if I hit.

The so called experts gave Mo a C for his workout. I watched the Mig and he didn't like Mo's workout. I say let them bet him. I'm not. He will have speed all over. I like Flat Out and watch Zito's. Not to win but hit the board.

I remember the Kentucky Derby where Super Savor won, and I had the exacta boxed.  Went to cash the ticket at thistledown before heading to Northfield, (thanks to the spat between northfield and thistledown not letting us cash each others tickets) and I had to wait in two lines to finally get the money, and ended up getting to the race I wanted to bet as it was going off.  What I wrote down and planned to bet hit, and I ended up missing out on more because I went to cash another ticket.

I know Mo got a huge Beyer last time BUT it was only a 4 horse race I think.Now he draws outside in a full field of quality horses trying to get the distance for the 1st time.He may indeed win it but not with money on his nose.

I think the same problem still exists in IL.Arlington has their own tote system and the other tracks are all on one.It cost me a bundle the night Wooly Bully won a race as a 2yo.

I would tell you that to bet horses that already proved that they like the Churchill Downs course. I remember Bailey and Stevens saying that the dirt course is tricky. Some horses love it, some horses hate it.

I think that was the first year you couldn't do that between the two tracks, when thistledown went dark Northfield ran commercials on TV making it seem like thistledown closed down for good.  No matter what anyone else from northfield might come on and say, that is how the commercials seemed.

I talked to a friend that worked at thistledown, and she said that Thistledown was pissed about the commercials and will get northfield back for doing so.  A few months later thistledown announced you could no longer cash your northfield tickets at their place, and you couldn't cash thistledown at northfield.

I went to Home Depot today to get a extra big broom for you so I can sweep the tickets off the ground when Mo packs it in.
