Happy to hear you think the White Sox will do well.  We had to call up a rookie to face them nasty Injuns Friday when one of our studs went on the DL. Sjerkma from the Cubs tried to take out Konerko..  Imagine what he could have done if he could see out of both eyes. When everyone is healthy the Sox will be better.  Take heart Injun fans, you have some nice young players on your team.  Right now I have to say that Detroit has to be favored to win the division.They will play better soon.  I will predict the the Injuns will win a world series before the........Cubs.

We may be witnessing the "LeBron Effect" here.  The Tigers are inside the top-10 payroll list, having overpaid for the services of Prince Fielder.  The White Sox, on the other hand, have fallen out of the top-10 list this year, because they chose not to steal some other team's homegrown mega-star.  The Tigers paid the price (got swept) because Cleveland is motivated to strike back at the "star system" in sports.  Clearly, Chicago is not getting the same treatment.

The tribe needed a brief respite from winning. They must play down to the level of their opponents, and that sort of concerns me a little. However, just like last year, my crippled Indians WILL finish higher in the standings than the White Sox, as usual.
