These arguments go on endlessly.  I don't know Tracy or the Marks, or Kesmodel.   Now, if Marks is juicing her horses, how exactly does that work.  He can't be anywhere around the track or backstretch.  I realize many are ship ins, but still, is he allowed to work on a farm or off track training center?   Of course, he could be providing something to those who can to use.  What bothers me about all the accusations is that how the hell do you keep a secret like that?  Is just one person administering the juice, unbeknownst to anyone else?  From my experience if two people on the backstretch know something , in a month a 100 people or more will know.
My favorite type of people are the ones who say my trainer is clean as a hounds tooth, but all the competion who are successful are juicing.

And if we are using your measuring stick he has to be an incredibly bright individual.........he's able to elude today's sophisticated testing.........I've yet to meet anyone in harness racing who, in the long run, is able to do this.

Bill Robinson, Lou Pena, Rene Allard, Ledfords, Bill Elliot, Tatker caught with syringes in test barn (and still allowed to race!!!). Just a few off the top of my head that all have had long runs before getting busted.

Your logic is flawed because Jesus tried to change people, and was also the son of God depending on your religion.  He was not a mere person. And technically Mary was the last perfect person on earth.


The funny thing is, is that other trainers here are arguing with the gamblers.  We aren't calling for a witch hunt, or for you guys to throw other trainers under the bus.  But you better get your act together and clean up the sport yourself or a few stories of cheaters will take away all your slot money.

The " GREAT TRAINING " feats he performed in IL were nothing short of miraculous.One summer I guess when the magic " hay oats and water " arrived EVERY horse in his barn went ona roll with new lifetime marks and winning by huge margins.My fav was The Young Tennessee N at the age of 12 or 13 taking a new mark.

The not so funny thing is........I don't believe cheating is as rampant as what is lead to be believed in the media and over the internet...........THAT is where we better get our act together.

Why aren't we talking about Sweet Lou's mile instead of DEFENDING He's Gorgeous?

I believe the "true" cheaters ARE being weeded out...........I believe punishments ARE swift and occasionally TOO harsh if looked at from an honest horseman's perspective.

But the more everyone (and I mean gamblers AND horsemen) sit around and whine about how crooked everyone is the PERCEPTION is going to be that everyone is crooked!

So you honestly think Jimmy Tatker is nothing but a crook? All the success and good horses he has had is because of drugs because he was caught in the test barn.......which the specifics, I know nothing about, in fact I don't even know if this is true.

I'm still waiting on the Lou Pena blow up.........but I guess it won't be coming because like Josh Marks he is BRILLIANT at eluding detection.

There are bad doctors.....lawyers......cops......teachers..........BAD people through out society.........are BAD people the majority or a small minority?

Your Takter suspension:
The Ontario Racing Commission handed leading trotting trainer Jimmy Takter a $10,000 fine and a five-day suspension yesterday.

Takter flew to Toronto for the hearing at Woodbine yesterday after one of his assistants was discovered to be in the possession of syringes the night before.

Takter started five fillies in last night?s Elegantimage eliminations, four of which qualified for the final: Filly At Bigs, Tasty Chip, Southwind Allaire and Armbro Acorn. Takter was given the option of scratching the horses which were subjected to both pre and post race tests.

The ruling was determined based on other precedent setting cases of the same nature where similar fines and suspensions were given.

Horse was still allowed to race although the fact that it was co-owned by Woodbine's CEO Davjd Wilmot probably had nothing to do with it...

I'm guessing there is not a single trainer in all of harness racing history who has never given a horse a shot, laddies.
