Breeders Crown Selections Sat. Woodbine
« on: October 28, 2011, 08:22:28 AM »
Looks like an exciting night!! I'll have to watch replays as I am going out to a borthday dinner--it won't cost me more than $500-hope I can win it back.

Race 1  #6 Action Broadway-sort of got corked in last start-big danger here  #8 Jersey AS- like George on this horse  #10 Frnchfrysandvinegar-will have some work to do from out here, but could

Race 2  #4 Check Me Out- I did and looks tough  #5 Win Missy B- could pull off mild upset.  The two favs look tough.  #7 and #10 might benefit from some unexpected insanity

Race 3  #5 Economy Terror- never worse than 2nd in career, hard to go against but- #2 HandsOffmycookie- 8/9 isn't too shabby albeit against NYSS competition-might get good odds  #7 Big McDeal-looks sharp now

I'll be back later with more-site acting sort of goofy this AM and I don't want to type a lot for nothing.

OK I'll continue:

race 4  #3 Sweet Lou- all over him last week- will stay with  #7 Sing For Me George-sharp  #4 A Rocknroll Dance-rollin on

Race 5  PossessThe Will& #5 Magic Tonight- have rated about equal  #8 Royal Shyster- longshot chance

Race 6  #5 Anndrovette-will be heavy fav.  #1 MAureen Rocks- yes she can beat top choice--can't get two bad drives in a row--can she? #10 Laughandbehappy-will bveright there-bank on it

RAce 7  #3 Commander Crowe- was damn good before and now gets lasix  #2 San Pail-can, but has work cutout for him  #5 Rapide Lebel-hell, went 1:51 at some shithole #4 Arch Madness- will pull out all stops.

Ok-taking a rest now-will return with rest of card later

Going to start the serious handicapping tonight at work.

Off the top of my head Maureen Rocks is a play. If I have any money left by the last race We Will See is my Best Bet. Anything over 3/2 is a gift IMO.

A quick look comes up with these, skipping the 3/5's

Race 1 #8 JERSEY AS - needs some early foot for better chance
Race 4 #3 SWEET LOU - would love to see RR and the crew win it
Race 8 #2 DROP THE BALL - ok she'll be 3/5 but love her
Race 9 #4 CHAPTER SEVEN - fresher and peaking at the right time
Race 11 #5 ALSACE HANOVER - beast, awesome field though

Hate picking against JBamond twice. Good luck to all.

Race 8  #2 Drop The Ball-could repeat  #3 Roclamation-monster move last  #6 Monkey On My Wheel- no monkey business this timeSuper longy- #10 Idyllic-others seem more logical but under right scenario...
Race 9  #5  Manofmanymissions- is best and that is all there is to it.  #4 Chapter Seven- will be the fav methinks. Much improved with Timmy T sitting behind him
Race 10  #4 Cedar Dove- looks like Ronnie's winner for the night  #7 Jezzy-no slouch- has she lost when TT is driving?  #8 Crys Dream- could return to her old self
RAce 11 Wow-one tough race!!!But, you can't play them all.  #4 Betterthancheddar-peaking at the right time  #5 Alsace Hanover-one tough hombre #9 Big Bad John-can make it interesting.  I know you could pick 2-3-6 or even 7 and make a good case for them.  What's it cost to box 7 horses?  rflmao1 rflmao1

RAce 12 #1 We Will See-has super kick  #2 Foiled Again-could  Longy #7 Dial Or Nodial

Good Luck All!!!!

Narrowed down my selections, which are always subject to change  ;)

R1 $50 WP #8 Jersey AS

CEW Exacta Parlay
R2 $50 ex box 45
if wins split return evenly and play
R4 ex box 34
if wins split return evenly and play
R9 ex box 45

CEW WIN Parlay
$200
R8 #2 Drop The Ball
R9 #4 Chapter Seven
R12 #1 We Will See

I wanted to include San Pail in the win parlay but won't take a short price on him after looking at the records of the two European horses.

R4
PK4 $1.00 34/123459/15/2345 = $96
PK4 $0.20 234/all/15/2345 = $48

R9
PK4 $1.00 45/24678/23456/12 = $100
PK4 $0.20 45810/24678/23456/12711 = $80

R11 $200 DD 5/1

R12 - if there is anything left after all this madness there will probably be a large Win bet on We Will See. As much as I love Foiled Again WWS just looks too tough in this spot off the rail.

Upset Specials
R3 #3 Pirouette Hanover - a few in here have a shot to knock off Economy Terror, but I like this one's chances best.

R6 #1 Maureen Rocks - got a feeling she will be bet down to about 2/1 so not really what some would consider an upset. I'll need to watch the tote to figure out how to play this one. Annnnnnnndrovvvvvvvetttttteeeeeee the one to beat.  ;D

Once again - best of luck to all.

Race#1  Going with the 2 girls whp have been taking on the boys most of the year

#8 Jersey As and #10 Frenchfrysnvinegar Going to use them in DD's with the only 2 you can use in race#2 the 3,4. Going to play the 4 for more. Think Sears Out Foxes Timmy

Race#3 Going to try and beat Economy Terror.  15-/ 1and 10/1 ML on the 2 and 3? Get out of here. Depends on the odds on who I play to win as I think the both can and I will play ex and tri's with economy terror

Race#4 #1Pick 4   3,4,5,8,10 x 3,4,5,9 x 1,5 x 2   $40
             .20 Pick 4   3,4,5,8,10 x 3,4,5,9 x 5 x 2,3,5,7  $16

Race#8  i don't see Drop The Ball Losing, I don't see any value here so I will just watch

Race#9 Pick 4  $1    4,5,8,10 x 4 x 2,3,4,5,6,7,9 x 1

           .20 pick 4,5,8,10 x 4,8 x 2,3,4,5,6,7,9 x 1,2

                      .

Good Luck To Everyone Playing tonight

Late pick 4  $1.00  4,5,8 / 4 / 2-9 / 1    $24.00
