Man you're sharp. Just like that Campbell call in the Adios consolation.
Campbell wont be driving TOL again. His horses dont finish and he didnt get a check. Its over for him . He won the conso by a neck at 1-5 withh a horse miles the best. Its been over for him for quite some time. Its really hard to watch, Those who actually bet TOL at 9-5 with Campbell in the Final HATE money. It was a sorry sight

Just call them as I see them lady.
You are not the first to redboard. Very common---but not good

Nothing just trying to figure out Likeaprayer, aka renton, aka toomanyangels, aka elgin.
Lucky for her she wears a helmet when riding her bike.

I think the woman is just reporting what happened. Doesnt really add much , but it's something I guess. I watched Tioga tonight so it didnt do very much for me.

On the other hand it comes across as classic redboarding. Post the selections in the afternoon, Miss, and I think this kind of stuff can be avoided . Lot of reboarding on these forums and I can see it leaves a sour taste to some

Thanks rooster.

I will put my 2 selections in this thread as well.

I like Sweet Lou to win his elim, I don't think he wins the final.

I like Heston Blue Chip and the Bionic Man to win his elimination, depending on who all makes the final and how Heston rolls this week, I honestly believe he has the faucets to win the whole thing.

Some will argue that Heston isnt much stock coming from the NYSS program and not off the major steaks circuit.   I think they been priming him up for this.

JaV---great play with heston. You havent changed in years. You have a great eye for this game and 4-1 was stealing because you told me on Wednesday , anything over 2-1 was legal robbery. You were right on the money. Price was awesome and you werent worried about anyone in the division. I know you got it ALL tonight. Thanks for the confidence to take a nice shot myself. You kept saying Tetrick took him over King Cole in the first elim, so he would have in the final --and damn if Timmy and you were both right on the money.
Thanks my friend. Be looking for  your play ibn The Final eagerly , It was here for all to see , so I hope the gang had it .

Always good to follow this man,. His opinion is extroadinary. thumbsup

To me that is the most undeserved dq I ever witnessed. I saw the exact same thing happen Saturday night in another race, one where they "slowed" the second quarter to 26.4, and no one was disqualified, nor should they have been.

Every driver has a right line. The guy on top controls everything until someone challenges him. In my opinion, the judges screwed Brent Holland royally.

Hell I was one of the most vocal people when tracks started their 34 second second quarter rule, and I am damned sure against it to this day. Matter of fact I always told my drivers I would pay their fines if they had my horse on top and got fined for a slow quarter.

Horrible error in jugement by those who made the call. Javelina is 100% correct. The need to be swamped with either calls or letters and I have done so. They said they would get back to me, and the tone of one judge was that they blew it. Sadly , I think dont think anything will be done, but at least Jav 's idea to make them aware of this blunder is very commendable. Hopely posters will comply . I will continue to e-mail and call. Lets get something done for once

This was legal robbery. We cant have that. Game has enuff problems without adding this to the mix. Utterly incompetent judges. This happens thousands of times a year and not a word is said. Cat Manzi was the one at fault. Pretty obvious when you watch

He may have had atoll money---if he ate at the raceway he went home broke

Its a horrible move betting all morning  line favorites

Those that do tonight will again go home broke

Value is the name of the gamea and always is going to be---33% and you busted out last night---not good

Nice job there Java
Morning lines have always been meaningless.
In fact, they are not even a good indication of a horses' post time odds which is really what they were originally designed to
indicate. For a good laugh, check Harrahs at PhillyChester. Morning line odds of 10-1 routinely go off at 6-5 all day long. The entire M/L concept is a joke  and making a statement that a M/L favorite is "supposed " to win is comical.

I think Java's above chart makes a pretty strong case for that.

The M/L has been known to be helpful in pick 3's,4's and 5's by being so blatantly off --- it can bolster your price on someone he makes 8-1 and goes off 2-1. Value comes into play in that scenario as the general public uses these phony M/L favorites. Best thing to do is handicap and bet who you like based on your opinion which is hopefully a good one.

But in reality, like the man said, if you are looking for winners and base your play on the M/L, there's a pretty good shot you'll be driving home broke. Last night you would have. And more than likely tonight as well.

Tracy with just one in tonight at Vernon--Disco Dragon in the 6th. A winning mile and maybe it might be a good time to stop the foolishness going on there at present---appears to be making no difference, so why look bad if you  are Mr Gural.

Im all for cleaning up the game but you need to us logic as well.

Many are saying same thing.   I would look into betting at the ridge as well if he was steering.

I have to disagree with you on this one. His list of violations on the track is endless , and  while I am all for 2nd, 3rd and 4th chances, his actions off the court were always the icing on the cake as far as Im concerned. No second chances there .My guess is that Mass will give him the green light. Why not ?--they already have. But thats as far as its going to go. No other state has interest and thats why he's applying there to drive with that with that highly talented driving colony. It falls into the "who cares" category. And its really tiresome---9 years off the field. Gambling and felons really dont mix too well

Blue Chip, I believe I speak for Mr. Gisser that the subject at hand us not what is making him miserable. The manner the combatants are going at it here is unprecedented on In The Sulky.

Trust me, when the banning begins it will not be limited to one person and the results of said banning will likely upset some folks.  Frankly watching adults act like children is not my cup of tea.

Not a big fan of such behavior either to be perfectly candid

Gary, please put us all out of our misery. You have the power to do so. So do it.

And your point being ?  What form of misery are you currently suffering ? Is it the detention barn issue. The facts (if you bother to look ) show her doing just fine, thank you, since the utterly unfair decision to single her out , basically accusing her of some unscrupulous tactics. Jeff Gural made a blunder banning Brennan from the Meds and a week later realized that mistake. Now he has put the spotlight on her . Another mistake . It's his track and his call, but it's slowly looking like the wrong call indeed .Her win percentage in the small sample  we have is just fine and will continue to be.

Sadly, this had made you miserable. Why would that be ? Is it because she has still continued to do well despite the notion of alleged wrongdoing ? Or are you just  jealous of her success over the years ? I tend to think its the latter. Either way , Gural looks foolish at this point, and its a safe bet she'll be allowed to operate as all the other trainers at the facility in short order.  Mr Gural has a way of jumping to conclusions and its not really a good way of doing business. She's still winning races sir,  and what else need she prove ? She remains the best condioner on the grounds, something you have an issue  with dealing with. Imtruly sorry about that

If indeed you are going through such misery over this, the obvious move would be to not read the thread or perhaps just leave. You have not one, but two options, so surely you can probably figure out one that suits you. But her success has clearly made you a rather unhappy sort and the detention barn numbers are apparently making it worse

In the interim, do you have proof that she has cheated ? I think that's an important factor. Making wholesale decisions as Gural has is not a good way to run a business. Penalizing those who are successful without proof of any rule breaking just doesnt't work. Sorry to see that this is making you miserable.  Sadly ,it reeks of jealously and when the detention barn shows she is unable to perform up to her high standards, report back to us. So far, so good. Incidentally, jealousy is a miserable trait to have. I would work on it.
But  as I said you have two excellent options---leave or dont read topics on trainers you personally dont care for.

The truth smacked you in the head and confused you, last week was from detention too.

Dave do you understand class of a race at all?
Also do you realize that skewing reality does not make it fact?

How many more lies can you post?

Early results appear Gural messed up. Singling out a particular trainer is wrong. Gural's 'opinion" here appears to be a bonehead decision so far. Only way to right it  is to make it a level playing field and have all of them in the detention barn. Or nobody.

Singling out Tracy Brainard may be his right, but its utterly idiotic. Good for her proving him wrong. Facts dont lie. Gural messed up ---again. Will he pull a " Brennan " move here too and admit to her he was wrong once again ?
