Can't blame him for not wanting Urlacher. Old, slow and hurt all the time: not very desirable qualities in a linebacker.

Highly unlikely Marc Trestman will get any impact player's interest in playing in Cleveland.  He is the traditional bad choice by bad/cheap mgt.

Trestman is coaching the Bears.

Sometimes adding or subtracting one or two players can markedly change the face and persona of a franchise. The Ravens won’t have Ray Lewis next year and Ed Reed turns 35 at the start of the 2013 season. Losing Ray and having Reed’s role diminish due to age will have a big picture impact on the team.

Marc Trestman apparently has no interest in resigning Urlacher, who becomes a free agent in March and turns 35 in May. Similar situation.

The Dancer George (Dancer Hanover) mare, Taxi Dancer, was the dam of the very good Down Under pacer, Tax Credit (Sir Dalrae). The gelding earned $300,000 in the late eighties in NZ. Another horse named Tax Credit was the Big Towner pacer who won the final edition of the Clark at Liberty Bell in 1984. Popular names. A taxi dancer is a paid dancing partner.

The Food Stamp Program, administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, is proud to be distributing this year the greatest amount of free Meals and Food Stamps ever, to 46 million people.
Meanwhile, the National Park Service, administered by the U.S. Department of the  Interior, asks us "Please Do Not Feed the Animals." Their stated reason  for the policy is because "The animals will grow dependent on handouts and  will not learn to take care of themselves."

This ends today's lesson in Irony.

Irony requires that there be a deliberate contrast between the apparent and intended message being delivered. Federal bureaucrats aren

agree with most but how would rebeka bayama beat anndrovette?

and how is chapter seven not even nominated?

Chapter Seven only raced twice in Canada. You need to race three times to be nominated. Market Share made six 2012 starts in Canada.

These are oddball awards: throw logic out the window. A couple of years ago Sportwriter garnered 37% of the vote against Heaven, even though Sportswriter only won one race. Granted it was the NA Cup, but still. Last year Monkey crushed Peelers, taking 80% of the vote off of her BC win and some success in the SS program.

To Dream On won the Dan Patch but I think Bee A Magician wins the O

Approval given to build new Lebanon Raceway
November 14, 2012

The moving of Lebanon Raceway in Ohio got a big boost on Tuesday when Warren County Commissioners approved site plans that will allow the building of a new multi-million-dollar racetrack and casino in Turtlecreek Township near Dayton. The project is scheduled to begin next month and last a year.

Lebanon Raceway was sold earlier this year to Churchill Downs Inc. and Delaware North Gaming & Entertainment Cos. The new racino will be a 188,000-square-foot building that could hold up to 2,500 slot machines. Plans call for the building of a five-eighths mile racetrack.

Reports state that construction is expected to cost $105 million, with another $70 million going toward expenses such as license fees and land. For those familiar with Ohio, the new racino will be located at the northeast corner of state Route 63 and Union Road.

While approval has been given to Lebanon, Penn National Gaming is still waiting on word from the Ohio Racing Commission on its plans to relocate Raceway Park in Toledo to the Dayton area.

Sounds like the old man is trying a little too hard to convince himself that he made a good decision.

Beyond the Matron, this is about next year. One can only assume that the plan is to have Montrell  travel the circuit with

When Lachance just held his ground with the colt on the rail, My MVP, and Tetrick backed off the gate with the two, Mr Chicago, Callahan was up against it. At that point it was a case of just going on to the final where there is no second tier.

Post positions are determined by an open draw.
