Peter Wrenn, a winner of multiple driving titles at Hoosier Park, has been suspended indefinitely by the Indiana Horse Racing Commission after failing a human drug test. Wrenn, 50, has not raced at Hoosier Park since May 9, and at the time was second in the 2013 dash standings with 49 victories. Wrenn currently stands 13th on the all-time dash list with 9,080 wins.
According to the ruling issued by the Indiana Horse Racing Commission, a urine sample collected from Wrenn on April 26 was analyzed by the Witham Toxicology Laboratory, which reported findings of codeine and morphine.
The ruling states that "a licensee whose license has been summarily suspended by the judges is entitled to a hearing following a written request by the licensee. The judges shall conduct a hearing on the summary suspension, the sole issue is whether the licensee's license should remain suspended pending a final disciplinary hearing and ruling."

Hell all he has to do is go to a doctor that is willing to write a script! That isn't a big deal to get now! Like the Harlem Globetrotter said"No it's my LEGGGGGGGGGG" ;D

Trust me, I know what I'm talking about! All he has to say is his back hurts him and have a doctor willing to write it. You cannot prove anything for back pain and if it's medically sound the racing board CANNOT overturn a doctor that is treating the patient!!!

i agree w u up to a point.scripts are available for those w back pain but his downfall is the morphine.that is usually the last resort for the most serious of conditions like people near death.
no way any doc writes a px for that for a guy operating a car or a sulky.

Not really Tross! i know of a guy that has neuropathy that gets morphine. (NO NOT ME) actually though in the hospitals I got diaudid IV. More potent than morphine. I found out that the Vicodins now have less tylenol than before. I got them for my head-aches this last time when I had a mini stroke.
