Compare the numbers from when Dems got control of both houses of Congress in 2006, and Jan 20, 2009.

Should we also compare the numbers from when Clinton took office until Bush or only numbers that are beneficial to the argument?

I don't care either way as long as it's all factual. I just don't like whitewashing.

took much blame or credit is always given to one party when in fact both parties are the cause imo

I agree with that... and also a few things that you can't really pin on either party.
In the late 90's we had stocks that were way overvalued.
In the early 2000's we had companies cooking the books
In the late 2000's we had the mortgage crisis... but that be tied back to earlier policies that made the economy stronger temporarily in the late 90's
Now we have both parties that are more concerned with how much the rich are getting taxed vs planning on how to get more people off assistance.
