I didn't see Sportsmans as my home track, but it was by far my favorite I ever raced at!
It was a Mecca. bowdown bowdown bowdown

Blmpk was pretty much the track I raced at the most.

Northfield was home, my favorite place to race was always Pompano Park.

I loved the doubles at Hawthorne! But it was a very short meet. I always made good money there because the top stakes horses were on the shelf for the winter and the smaller trainers could gather some cash. The purses were good and the Carey's treated the horsemen really well. (something you don't see at the other remaining harness tracks)

Hawthorne is on the outs with the politicians now and can't get any harness dates. Damn shame... they always ran a nice operation.

PPK obviously is home for me but I never met a 1/2 mile track I didn't like.

Roosevelt was the best but YR, Fhld, MR, Stga & May are all 1/2 milers that I've been too & loved to watch the races.  Would like to see Ocd, Nfld, Del, Gosh & Pcd too.

Least favorites to visit are Bal & M1.

Horrible paddock however.
Sportsmans had a great paddock and a good clubhouse but my favorite is still the Red Mile with the old paddock on the far turn. Great tradition and you can still hear the ghosts of Greyhound, or Bret Hanover in the barn areas. No other track in the country comes close.
You can be pretty sure there is tyranny in the country when the government pleads the fifth
